I was charged $59.30 /day, but when I was under the impression that it was only $29.95 /day ( as advertised on the U-Haul website ) another false advertisement was the mileage. Online the mileage was supposed to be $1.09 for each kilometre but I paid 1.75 per kilometer. All together I was billed much more than I had anticipated. I had extended my rental online for 6:30pm the next day, but received a phone call from the U-Haul location that they are closed at 5:00pm. So I arranged to drop it off the following day. The U-Haul rental was difficult and my is reflective of the experience I’ve had with the company this time. On a happier note, the store owner was very friendly but they were located by an overdose prevention site which was uncomfortable for my children. Otherwise, I have been okay with the location and the owner was very understanding and helpful.

Location is literally in the worst spot in town for drug use. People were doing crack off the back of other trucks in the location

This was my first time renting a moving truck. There is nothing to say but awesome service and a great price. The gentleman who I dealt with ,was the best. I would Recommend the service to somebody new anytime. I’ll be back one day in the future if I needed a moving Vehicle

The on line service wasn’t working properly when I went to pick up the truck so had to wait till the store opened.

When I went to rent this U-Haul the truck was on empty. I could only go 20 km and have to put gas in. It wasn’t very nice.it should’ve been on full tank will not rent from this dealer again

They told me the day before my move that the 26’ was not available after having booked it 2 weeks ago. The location for pickup and drop off is worse than East Hastings. Witnessed an overdose next to the truck as I was parking it. The vagrants are using the trucks as the own bathrooms. I will never venture back there

The drop off location was close to my house which was very convenient. He was kind and helpful and easy going. It was a stress-free experience and no additional fees were incurred.

Truck was dirty and not well maintained. They sent me to a drop off location that wasn’t even open and I had to drive and find a different drop Off place after spending 8 hrs driving and moving!!

This truck was extremely dirty had many un marked chips, scratches all over that were not marked by location.
