Person showed up to work 20 minutes late after the office should have been opened. She only showed up after multiple phone calls were made. Then she made jokes about it. She didn’t even know where the keys were causing more delays. This caused us to be late with meeting with the movers. The truck, while clean only had an 1/8th of a tank in it forcing us to fill it before we could go anywhere. The expectation is to return it at the same level which means that the next person will also have to deal with a low tank of gas? Messed up.

William KellyThe website for the drop off location said they were open until 6:00 pm on Saturdaythe same day as of pickup. Arrived at 5:30 and the place was closed. Left a number on the door to call, the number on the door did not match the number on the drop off paper work. Called the number and they said to drop the trailer with the other trailers. I was by myself and it was difficult to disconnect because of the weight. I had to call on Monday because I had not received a notification that they had checked in the unit. Looks like the uhaul rental is run as a second business out of the same building.

Javon IvyGave my employees the wrong truck, they had to turn around and come back after already on I-69, loss of time and money for us to pay hourly wages to the two employees in the truck, we requested a credit, $50 was approved via phone, receipt did not reflect that.
Robert FrewI rented the truck for one day, I was charged for 2 days. They corrected it by telling me they are crediting the extra day off my charge but I have yet to see it. And by then taking that extra money out I had a $10 charge go through my bank account and it will not go through and I will get a $32 extra bounce charge. IT WOULDNT HAVE BOUNCED HAS THE GUY NIT CHARGED ME FOR 2 days! I will never rent at uhaul again unless I get that money back. But it already cost me $32 for UHauls mistake! It’s not fair. I was also told that with the pickup it would be a $.59 cent per gallon, when I got to uhaul it had gone up to $.69 cent a mile. My estimate went from around $60 to $86 actual price. Then I gif charged $126.89 or something like that. Total rip offs!

Gerald SkoogThe van I rented had not been cleaned at all. Cigarette ash still sat on steering colum. I only rent u-haul for local quick trips because I expect mediocre equipment. After this experience I will look for other options moving forward. I feel cost will be the sane with another company but equipment will be superior.

TIMOTHY STEWARTI had requested a dolly, there wasn’t one in the truck. Both times I was at the location (pickup/drop off) it was supposed to be open (according to the hours) and it wasn’t. I disputed the charges and asked for a refund for the dolly and was still charged full price. I sent through feedback (twice) before writing this and still have not heard back from anyone.
Ian TuffleyWe dropped off the 10 foot truck at Havertown in PA. They NEVER checked the truck in!! The UHaul office in Philadelphia called me 4 times to say I never dropped off the truck! They were relentless!! I kept telling them I dropped it off and called the location and they were dismissive. I have used Uhaul 5 times in the last year. I will never use UHaul again!! The less stress pickup was great. Havertown is another story.
