The person at the receivable site was brand new and not aware or trained with u-Haul process. Much more disappointing and dis-satisfying, I received two (2) bills from u-Haul - the second bill was rather bizarre. I had to call for resolution. I am the 3M Co. corporate quality leader, and such a system failure (double billing) is a serious system failure. I ask the person on the phone who credited second bill how this happens, they had no idea. I would be glad to speak with a person to issue a formal customer complaint with the goal of helping u-Haul to fix such critical system failures going forward.JOSEPH H.

When renting anything and going one way to another destination to drop off, apply drop off destination right away and not send it following day! When getting to the next town at night and cargo or vehicle is unloaded to have to hang onto the rental is a bit reversal process.Brock S.

Greatest problem was not having vehicle available in Minot, ND and needed to pick up at a location that was a hour and half away. This added much stress to the process and a lot of time which was important to the volunteers we had lined up to assist. NOT appreciated!! Have equipment where your clients are expecting them is my suggestion!Seth F.

You need to correct the billing situation because I was overbilled for my rental. An additional $77 which took my account into the negative and I want it refundedsarena B.
There were several slices on the trailer lights and they did not work upon pickup due to a previous splice that had let go. a simple crimp connection is cheap and easy but does not last. The location was not equiped to fix it but I always come prepared to fix your crap equipment. i had limited time and so it was fixed by me and the staff just said "you have done this before" I had> And you changed my selected pick-up location to a spot 5 miles away! We had reserved a 26' ft truck on the 3rd of June, the day we were schedule to pick up on June 25, we were told there were no 26' ft trucks in the state, no call from U-Haul telling us this, we were forced to get a 15' ft truck for basically the same price and nothing was done to rectify the fact we weren't getting what we reserved, we will be telling everyone we know how horrible of customer service is with U-Haul and you aren't guaranteed the truck you RESERVE and to definitely find somewhere for their moving needsKyle W.

I was happy with the rental agents and facilities. I was miserable with the truck itself. I, unfortunately, made my 2-day trip from Bismarck, ND to Bettendorf, IA, when heavy rains and strong winds were present. My belongings in the truck itself were fine. However, the cab leaked like a waterfall, and my left shoulder, chest and lap were soaked. The top of the cab was not sealed, and water cascaded down the seat-belt chute onto me. Fortunately, I figured out the problem before a wooden family heirloom that was strapped onto the passenger seat got wet. The leakage was coming down the seat-belt chute on both sides. So I did not file a claim, but I had a miserable, wet, cold experience, because there was no way for me to move myself as a driver. I really would not mind some compensation for a miserable driving experience. Again, your people and your facilities were fine. Just the leaky cab.Dave R.
The process of renting the trailer seemed pretty slow, so maybe get more familiar with how the process works. Other than that, the people seemed great and the equipment was great.matt W.

I was overcharged for the insurance portion of the contract. 47.00 for 4 days, and then 47.00 for 2 days, because I returned the trailer 2 days late. I was told that the insurance would be pro-rated, and it was not. Rest assured I'll use my own trailer from now on, and I'll not use or recommend U-Haul to anyone!jAMES G.

The tires on one side of trailer were seriously low in pressure. They probably don't have the ability to inflate themselves at that location but maybe could suggest the customer checks tires before use.Harvey D.
Didn't get the family discount, had to drive 2 hours to go and get the truck when it was reserved online and they said it wasn't available at the original site or the secondary site. Was supposed to get money taken off of the bill because of the hassles and still got charged the full amount. Unless they make it right, I guarantee I will never use Uhaul again.James K.

very unorganized / my reservation I made online got changed without them notifying me before hand so I literally ended up stranded at the location I planned to pick it up at because I had a ride drop me off just to find out after my ride was gone that it got switched so had to pay for an Uber to get to the next location and then the process when I got there took forever because none of the info was there and then it wasn't even the right size truck I asked for! the final bill was totally outrageous having to pay over $400 for driving it 100 miles... will not be renting from uhaul in the futurejerrica M.

this experience was awful. I was originally reserved for one -way. two months in advance- then i was called 72 hours and was advised that there was no vehicle available. which i was upset about. then they finally got me a truck I was required to bring it back to the location. then they tried to charge me miles on top of it when i wen to pick up the truck. then after i brought it back they charge an addition $10.64 charge, which i then had to call customer service . and i am no waiting for a manager to contact me. customer service has assured me this would be 72 hours.Crystal T.

When I went to pick the truck up the computer did not work which delayed me for at least 20 minutes. The gentleman helping me was very apologetic. After all the time I waited, I was informed the appliance dollie I reserved had to be picked up at another location across town. Over all this incident was a nightmare. Delays and wasted fuel running all over town when I reserved the truck and dollie ahead of time and expected it to be ready.Robin R.

Customer service at MAC's was great!!! My personal opinion from what I saw is that UHAUL computer system should be improved as there seems to be glitches in it and causes frustration for the individuals running the system. The staff at MAC's were amazing, UHAUL should really look into updating the computer system or software.Ethan K.

Trailer was dirty inside and out. Mud on the wheel wells and trailer itself. Running lights on top of the trailer burnt out before leaving replaced the bulbs.Erik V.
