I ordered my vehicle to pick it up from the Maytag location in Glendale Heights, however, the website gave me the address for the wrong location. That was very frustrating. When I arrived at the wrong location, the worker mentioned that this is a common mistake and that many people got the wrong address from the website.

I had reservations for a Budget rental and they called to say the truck was not available 12 hrs before my move. I scrambled to find another truck. uHaul saved us. Easy to use can pick up at any time. Thanks UHaul!!!

I had no cash when going through a toll, but got a form from the woman at the gate telling me how much and where to pay, which I did. I then received a text message telling me I owed the toll plus a $1 fee, I emailed the confirmation number of the payment but my credit card was charged the $2.50 anyway. !. UHaul had the information regarding the payment that had already been made. 2. UHaul had NO RIGHT to just arbitrarily charge MY credit card. I am currently sitting on hold for your customer service for 20 minutes and still haven't spoke to anyone. If you're going to steal money from your customers the least you can do is spend it adding customer service help. I want the money returned to my account immediately due to principal alone. I also want a phone call stating this is being done because I don't feel like sitting on hold for hours listening to the same message over and over.

The radio, an AM/FM receiver, had terrible reception. That is the only complaint that I have. Overall, the people I dealt with were fantastic and the truck was clean.

Put a UHaul sign by the road! Otherwise it was a great rental agency. Manager was so very friendly, made it a pleasure to rent from her.

The lady was too rude. Its was taking too long for her I and frequently shifting from phone to the computer I simply asked her, how long will it take she rudely replies I know what I am doing wait.The receipt show customer signature and U haul xxx signature on the payment receipt. I asked its say we both sign on completion of transaction. She replied u are good to go.

moves never came .. no dolly or blankets . I got a ticket because the weight of the truck I just want my refund for the bad service .. they never even told me the tuck was not working they did everything last minute and the truck was dirty

I reserved a truck and when I went to get it it was not back yet. The owner allowed me to have a bigger truck at the same price. I am so happy with that place it is unbelievable! Thank you so much!

Train corporate reservation people. Called 2 U-Haul locations. Second location offer early pick-up, larger truck at smaller truck price, and 5% discount. Called a couple weeks later to change to a smaller truck. Was told smaller truck now costed more, and no notes on offer discounts. Was transferred to Customer Service who took information and said I would be called after phone record was reviewed. No call received. I called to follow-up. After 10 minutes, Customer Service took call, said they would transfter me, and sent me back to waiting for Customer Service. Second Customer Service representative placed me on hold, and then transferred me back to waiting for Customer Service. Third Customer Service person (Joyce) was great. She said any of the previous Customer Service people could have helped me. She got me the smaller truck, gave me an extra day, and took 10% off. Hurray! The day before pick up, I received a call from local U-Haul (not the one I requested) that they have my truck. They are one mile further away than the location I requested. I need truck and don't neet further problems as local rep did not know if other location would have truck. Pick-up day. I arrive and am told that price for truck is different from what I was quoted. Local person sees no notes in file and is unable to handle. Calls Customer Service and hands phone to me. Speak to one representative, who then successfully transfers me to another person, who is able to change the rate back to what I was quoted. Person asks about my return location. I told him I had one and did not want to change. He said fine. Local truck representative told me truck needed to be refueled to a partial level. I asked why the truck wasn't fully gassed (as I would now have to use my mileage to drive to a station to fill it) and how I was to estimate how many gallons of gas would be needed to fill the tank to the required partial level. Local representative said she did no know. No concept of customer service! As I drive truck home, I receive text message from Customer Service saying my return location was now changed to a new location 10 further from my requested return location. Called U-Haul again. Was told I would need to call yet another phone number. FInal U-Haul person switched location back. Very Frustrating Experience! U-Haul needs to train its reservation reprentatives!

This was the most confusing time I have ever used uhual. When requesting a pickup address, make it so there can’t be any changes. Also, make sure the order is actually confirmed with all the necessary additional items that were requested. I shouldn’t have to remind people of what I ordered. Ridiculous.

Placed the reservation for the u-haul online a couple of days in advance for a 15’ truck to be picked up at the selected location at 7:30am with (12) packing blankets. Arrived to the location on time & tried to start the online check-in, but was told my reservation was not completely assigned and to call my u-haul representative. I called him three times with no pick up. Another 15 minutes passed and finally get a call from him. He explained that even though the website gave me the option to pick up the vehicle at 7:30am, I actually won’t be able to access it until 8:00am. So now we wait... eventually I am able to check-in properly and the keys to the vehicle, only to find out the location does not have as many packing blankets as I need. I only receive half of what I ordered. 45 minutes past my original reservation time, I finally am able to leave to proceed with my move. Very disappointed in the u-haul service.

Check in took a long time because the truck rental at a different U-Haul hadn't been "associated" with the tow dolly rental. This wasn't so much an issue with the location but with the U-Haul corporate checkin software.

Facility is operated inside coin Landry place by one person, processing returns should be done ahead of other tasks, I had to wait over 30 min to return van keys (40 sec).

I WAS MOST CONCERNED ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE BRAKES WHEN MAKING THE HIRE. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE BRAKES WHICH MADE ME FEEL MORE CONFIDENT IN DRIVING THE VEHICLE AND IS A MAJOR REASON WHY I WOULD RECOMMEND U-HAUL. (YOU WOULD NOT RECOMMEND YOUR FRIENDS TO DRIVE AN UNSAFE VEHICLE.)

First, I was given a contract in Spanish because they were out of English. The parking placement for the truck was in water so the agent wouldn't fully go to the area with me. Upon returning it I wasn't informed about talking pictures before returning the keys. So, I was unable to complete the process as desired. I also was overcharged for fuel replacement upon receiving the vehicle I was at 7/8(which I have proof and contract) upon returning it was 5/8. I was okay with paying the extra. However, upon returning today she just told me a total and said the final contract would be emailed. When I received it now it said I had 3/4 not 5/8. Which I feel kind of slighted now. My problem wasn't the paying just how the whole situation was handled. You should be able to show me a final total before final payment. You also should have English contracts at your locations. I also feel that the final process should be better explained or at least the sign by the turn should tell you not to finally lock the car. Honestly, you can look at my account I have exclusively used u-haul. I will be moving across country in a year and based on this experience I am considering going with a different moving company.

We had the worst experience possible. They changed the time of the pickup 4 times and also changed the location while on the way to pick up. We called and complained and the attendant gave us the phone and said here is corp on the phone. They said they would give us $80 reduction and nothing ever happen. It was a scam. So disappointed in u-haul.

Have someone who can trouble shoot the connection available. The lady worked the laundrymat and told me trailer was in back. I had trouble; she claimed I had wrong size ball. I didn't. It was 2". I asked for spare tire she said, "I guess it's not included." She had no idea what she was talking about. Also, I asked for 11:30am pickup in Naperville; I was called with a 4pm pickup 25 miles from Naperville. They managed to change pick up time but not location. Pretty poor communication. Not happy.
