They lied about the gas meter, I swear to god I checked the meter before driving, and filled the gas not only to the spot it was at, but a very small amount above it. When I got back they claimed that it was under in gas. I had to pay an extra 14$ in gas to get the meter to where they said it was. They stole that money from me. I already paid they money so it over and done with. But I swear they lied about the gas and I'm pissed I didn't take a picture before hand. My bad I didn't expect them to be thieves. They also made me sweep the back, although the mess was not from me. I brought one couch in the truck, and the mess was 100% not from the couches I brought. The sweeping is a big deal, but the gas is super deceptive and honestly terrible for a business to do to someone. I will never go back to this location, and wil forever take picture of gas before leaving to prove corrupt businesses like this wrong.Mark B.

1. Location initially said that I have no reservation on record and then said after I showed my confirmation that truck was not available and they don't know how I was given this reservation. 2. I was told that I can book a new smaller truck which is what I did. When I asked if We can/need to cancel my original reservation I was told to take that with customer service. 3. Calling customer service was a nightmare: on hold for 10 minutes and a customer service represented who sounded like she didn't even want to work. Bottom line: I am sharing this review so uhaul can perhaps improve customer experience for others because personally I am happy to pay a truck with its driver rather than having to deal with uhaul again.kais S.

Everything went smooth except the fuel issue. Upon pick up I was told to return the truck with the fuel gauge between 3/4 and full. I did exactly that but upon return a different person checking me out said I was 1/32 shy and changed me an additional $16. I thought this was a bit petty but was too tired to discuss it after moving all day. Other than that my experience was good.James B.
Hello, I arrived 1/2 hour in advance to my rental time since I was shopping in the area. However, I quickly found out there was no way to accept the rental at that time unless I wanted to take the trailer out an additional day. Therefore, it required me to sit around in a laundry mat for an half an hour due to the time I arrived. Naturally, I wouldn't have shown up earlier if I had known that in advance. ThanksFrank A.

The truck had major issues that were not apparent when we picked it up and inspected it. The inspection looked good and everything checked out prior to driving away. But upon driving about half a mile, the check engine light came on. The truck also stalled while driving later (full details left in my drop off questionnaire). Irrelevant of that, the facility was good and easy to find and the woman working was very helpful. But the pickup location was changed from my original selection.Robyn P.

Maybe having the clear "exceptions" list for the "insurance" right upfront would make it much more clear as to what you are paying for. The very clear and plain English list of exceptions was only made available after paying for the insurance coverage. The trailer wasn't swept clean by previous customer or pickup location so there was a little tension there with who's responsibility that was. I was worried I was going to be charged for cleaning fee as I only placed one item in the trailer. There was clearly damage on the outside of the trailer that to my knowledge was not documented.John J.

Personnel were competent and affable. The truck had 121k miles on it and was difficult to start. The engine ran fine, but transmission seemed to lack a gear. The overall experience was seamless. I would rent there again but ask for a newer vehicle next time.Albert B.

In response to those who reviews on this board. I work at this facility, and we have an excellent customer service relationship with our customers. For all who come here know I explain the importance of doing the inspection that is sent to your phone before you leave the property. If there is a discrepancy with the gas,mileage or cleanliness of the vehicle it needs to be addressed,with photo before you leave property. ALSO ,I Highlight that they charge 5.00$ a gallon if you do not replace fuel with a minimum of 3 gallons . I have no way to falsify the app. If you request a vehicle for 6 hours and I always explain, if you need additional time then I can add at that point if it is available We ,including corporate, or an individual can also schedule a time right after you to book the truck ,with 100% guaranteed truck rental. BUT ,you can not assume it is a 24 hour rental. So when you return after your allotted time, You are charged an additional day. After 8pm, night drops without self check in ,get 20$ charge added Please do not write false things about me when it is in the contract. I am not getting money ,or benefitting from placing these charges on your bill. I just do what I am taught ,and the app does it all. There was a review that is on this board, that is defamation of my character. I have never called any individual a name.,that discriminates against someone's race or ethnic background. IF I put a contract on hold its because I need to check with uhaul rental location that gave you a one way truck, only for damages ,to make sure they were on there before so you don't get charged for it.
