The Kentucky Location was great. The Glendale Heights drop off location charged me $20.00 EXTRA even though I dropped off 2 days earlier beÃ§ause I dropped after hours and didn't check in my self "WHICH THEY NEVER TOLD.ME THAT AT ALL. Website says you open at 8:00 am on Friday but it was closed. Thank God for online check in. Other than that, great service. We thought we left a bag in the truck we rented and one if the women that works there was nice enough to go check the truck for us. 3rd time we've used this location and never had a problem. Also, used Gorilla Movers for loading and unloading!! They were amazing.David W.

Vehicle was not clean whatsoever. Coffee cup with rotten coffee, food bits left over, dirt in the back loading area, dust and hair inside. The WORST part was, there was dried mucus smeared across the steering wheel. Unacceptable and completely disgusting. Not to mention, there is a pandemic and its absolutely not sanitary.Magdalena K.

The lady working on 10/31 was the most unprofessional, misinformed, rude employee I have ever had to deal with. Told me 3 times to return the truck at 9pm. I returned at 9:01 and she said the cut off time was 8pm and I should have been â€œsmart enoughâ€ to read the sign. Mind you this is a laundromat and they have about 15 signs by the counter selling soda, detergent, etc.Ruby R.

I don't live in this area to recommend it to a friend. Also, I called u-haul with your 800 number and Francisco quoted me a higher rate of $449 and one day later spoke to Johan for the same exact time period and was quoted $389. I also questioned Johan if this quote was right since I was given the incorrect quote from the previous day for the same time period and truck size.Andrea R.

Despite doing online check-in, we still had to give our driver's license, give our phone numbers, and the pads we had ordered weren't in the cargo van. We had to go back in and ask for them. Perhaps most concerning, the low pressure light for the rear right tire came on right after we left. And because we were late getting away because of all of the time it took to check out, we weren't able to turn around. Finally, at least one of the employees, a man, did not wear a mask! Really made me wonder about the cleanliness of everything we touched.Eric P.

I had to lift and hook up the trailer myself and then found the roller door was locked and she couldn't find a key. Minor. My big problem was with the location at West Armitage Court in Addison where I was supposed to pick this up. Got there and the location was closed. Called the number on the door and was told 'the reservation was moved but didn't know where to' and had no interest in figuring it out. I you have an agreement with this guy you should pull it. When I rent a trailer, I expect it to be there. Or if there are extenuating circumstances I expect some effort in fixing it. Admittedly, I lost it with this unhelpful jerk. But for him to say, 'yea we screwed this up and it's your problem' if profoundly rude. Dump the Armitage Court location!Mike B.

Not good: - the truck had issues with the gear shifting from 2 nd to third - the battery was old we had to turn the key for at-least 5 minutes to get it on Overall i have seen better vehicles but this really need service specially for battery and gear shift.Sourabh T.

This has nothing to do with the location we used. We reserved a truck online at Location A. We got a call moments later switching us to Location B. Great customer service to make sure we had a truck. We attempted to check in online at 7am for our 7:30am reservation at Location B. It says wait until location is open at 6:30am..okay, weird but okay. Arrive at Location B for pick up and it was eerily quiet and sketchy. One truck was in the parking lots (ours) and no-one was there. Apparently they do not currently have Saturday hours. I sat on the phone waiting for customer service to figure out what is going on. Got a wonderful representative finally and she immediately sees that there the location did not stage our keys for pick up. She then efficiently gets the regional manager on the line, Amanda, and she assists us giving us a credit. We were able to find a truck close to our location but had to wait 30 minutes for them to open. While the people we interacted with were great, the whole experiencing was disappointing and took up time of others that were assisting us out of the kindness of their hearts.Danielle H.

I rented 20 foot truck. Back ramp was stucked , called office, staff said he can't do anything. I have to pay 200 ,$ extras for movers . When I returned truck I showed to them employees dis not listen. Called customer care they dong even answer phone . I tried to more than 6 times today to file a complaint. My son was moving and he originally went to another location but was refused rental because his liscence was creased/ even though the bar code was fine and scanned into system. The lady at the counter was rude. No customer service at all. It took 50 minutes to get out of there..... Then she tells ud we close at 7 when the return time eas 7:30.... Which wad only 5 hrs to begin with not 6 . We returned the vehicle at 6:30 only to find them trying to leave. Terrible. To make matters worse...i am being over charged . it should be $151 and change yet my cc is hit eith over $234! I will have to contact them and likely put a. Stop pay with my cc.
