My expectation was that I would receive a vehicle that is well maintained. I was disappointed to see that the brakes on the vehicle were not good, the steering of the vehicle was poor. I understand the truck is old but having poor conditions just puts the driver at risk.Umair U.

The rental truck was at least 10+ years old. No clear instructions on where emergency lights were located. Couldn't readjust the steering wheel. I'm short and there was a 6 inch pulley on the back gate. Couldn't reach it to close the door!BARBARA L.

I had gone through the online pickup, and midway through the process my drop off location and entire tripped changed. Initially it was designated for one way with a drop off in Chicago but mid checking in/picking up that was changed to round trip with this as the return location. The attendant there was apparently watching that process and came out to help resolve the issue, which had she not, would've caused considerable trouble and inconvenience. Also the online system clearly wasn't working as it was going to change my drop off location with actually notifying me until I had completed the contract.KYLE H.

I usually rent from the U-haul location on 84th Court in Hanover Park. They did not have the size truck I needed, so I was directed to this location. The check-in and check-out procedure in Glendale Heights was so much easier than the Hanover Park location. I would us this location again.Douglas J.

Uhaul in a laundry mart the lady there was extremely rude. Went to pick up truck had it reserved for 24 hours from 3pm to 3pm picked up truck bout 4 first thing she said in a very loud and rude way was â€œyour lateâ€ then she said â€œyour lucky I didn't give your truck awayâ€. Then she rudely said you better have this truck back by 3. So since she was being so mean I said ok and what do I have to pay if I am late. She replied it doesn't work that way you have to return on time. Asked her a few times wouldn't answer me. I had truck back by 1pm next day but I have never been treated so poorly. To top it off the mileage on tuck was bout 80 miles off what contract showed I had her write correct mileage on my contract. When I turned truck in it was not fixed in computer. So they could not check me out they called district manager he had to fix it he did an awesome job on correcting the issue. He said he told the lady I checked truck out with ( the rude one) to cancel out first one and redo she never did. uhaul has always been awesome first time I ever had terrible service.DAVID P.

Get rid of the women working at this location. I have been trying to call your corporate office to make a complaint and no one comes to the line. Your employee was confrontational, rude and beyond unprofessional. All because of the gas level being a little off when we say we didn't get the confirmation on the level she accuses us of stealing and screaming and yelling and walking away swearing horribly. I showed up to the orginal pick up. My truck wasn't there. The place said they called uhaul. No one called me. I ordered a 15 truck got a 10. This was a huge inconvenience If you can't rent it remove it from your website. It doesn't make any sense to say it might be there. I honestly can say I'll rent from uhaul again.Gregory B.

They supposed to double check the truck inside out If the dolly has seal and floor is clean because I got charge $7 for the dolly that I never used just because the seal was missing I even explained that I have my own dolly.Darwin G.
The Kentucky Location was great. The Glendale Heights drop off location charged me $20.00 EXTRA even though I dropped off 2 days earlier beÃ§ause I dropped after hours and didn't check in my self "WHICH THEY NEVER TOLD.ME THAT AT ALL. Website says you open at 8:00 am on Friday but it was closed. Thank God for online check in. Other than that, great service. We thought we left a bag in the truck we rented and one if the women that works there was nice enough to go check the truck for us. 3rd time we've used this location and never had a problem. Vehicle was not clean whatsoever. Coffee cup with rotten coffee, food bits left over, dirt in the back loading area, dust and hair inside. The lady working on 10/31 was the most unprofessional, misinformed, rude employee I have ever had to deal with. Told me 3 times to return the truck at 9pm. I returned at 9:01 and she said the cut off time was 8pm and I should have been â€œsmart enoughâ€ to read the sign.
