This location was not convenient to me and not the location I reserved. I was not notified of the location change so it was very much out of my way. I have used U-Haul many times over the years and always had a good experience. I do not appreciate the way this was handled however so I might make another decision going forward.Marvin M.

Bud Montgomery left my furniture on his property for almost 4wks without having it shipped. He also took the covers off of containers and let it rain in them. I have 5-6 pieces of furniture that is totally destroyed over his neglect. I had to have a family member pick my furniture up and bring it to my house. He told me that my furniture was being picked up on 28 of June, instead I find out that on July 14/15 that my containers where still sitting on his property in Berea, Ky. I deserve to have a claimed filed on this man for the way he neglected his job and left my containers out I. The rain without covers on them. The proprietor went out of his way to get us a rental after the truck we had booked 8 weeks in advance was not available the day of our rental and our agreement was cancelled without leaving us any options. We contacted several locations and trucks being double-booked is common. I would suggest calling a few days in advance to ensure you have a truck so you are not stuck like we were.Joanne S.

Better communication. I had scheduled pickup for 8 am only to get to the pickup location and find that they didn't open until 9am so I had to wait an hour for them to open. No one showed up at 9am so I had to call several times to get ahold of someone who told me where the key was. None of the other equipment was in the truck i.e. appliance dolly or furniture pads and I had to spend over an hour trying to get ahold of customer service for help. All this made for a very stressful move day. I also wasn't excited to see that I was charged overage on milage due to the pick up location being changed(by uhaul) to a place 15 miles away. Overall this was a terrible experience on an already stressful day. At this point I doubt I will be giving Uhaul my business in the future.CLAYTON T.

We had an issue in that U-Haul scheduled my truck pick-up at 8:30 am but the local store didn't open until 9:00 The dealer got there as quickly as he could and he was very efficient and helpful.William R.
We dropped off the truck and trailer at about 4:30PM on Thursday, a day before it was due, well before the posted closing hour. No one was there and the place was locked up tight. I went back twice over the next two days and never found anyone there which was a problem as I left my Handicapped parking Tag in the truck. I got a receipt saying they received the truck and trailer at 2:38PM on Friday?Richard B.
Dropped off truck and trailer one day early. They show receipt of them about a half hour before due, the following day. I never saw a person at the facility though I dropped off the truck and trailer at least 3 hours before their posted closing time. Went back there twice about mid day each of the next 2 days and the place was locked up. I left a handicapped parking tag in the truck and needed to retrieve it.Richard B.

Owner was great! I forgot to check the email for return time and was a couple of hours late returning the truck. I was fully prepared to pay the extra day. Owner said it was not a problem, checked the vehicle in and sent me on my way. Great service!paul S.

The transaction was fine and the people were very friendly, but, the transaction took longer than it should have and I had to be somewhere else following the appointment and was a bit late. It was a good experience, but not excellent. No complaints other than that. Good experience.Scott L.

The socket mechanism to connect to the trailer was listed & stiff & seized up & would not open & drop onto the hitch on my car. Also there was no mechanism to raise or lower the front of the trailer making it difficult for a single mom to maneuver, I had to use the jack out of my car!. Otherwise it was fine !susan M.

The truck ran bad and was extremely hot in the cab. The truck also leaked and soaked some boxes and ruined a matress.NICK C.
The truck had approximately 100,000 miles on it and could probably have used a tune-up. We used 11 gallons more gas than previous trips of the same distance and same size rental trucks. And new shocks. But it ran well otherwise and I would rent another U-Haul for future moves. Thank you.kay W.
