We were charged for the furniture Dolly and utility dolly and both were not in the rental truck. We also selected the pick up using my phone to have it ready and get the truck at 7:30am but it would not let me start the reservation anyways until the place was open at 8am. The place was supposed to open at 8 but no one showed up until 8:10 to open the place. After some problems trying to find the key (was not given a prompt for the lock box but the key was in the lock box so I had to go get someone) we did not end up leaving with the Uhaul until 8:20 which put us back quite a bit on our moving timeline. Overall I was not the most pleased with the Uhaul service, especially the 24/7 truck pick up and will not be renting from Uhaul for the remainder of our move.Kristin B.

I rented the truck thru the office I hav3 many times. I was dropped off by a friend who left. I was told that the truck was not there and that I needed to go to another place to get it. I had to call my friend back and wait for him. The initial place said they sent a message the daybefore. I got to the new plac3 and th3 proprietor said I had to check my cell phone to get a combination number so I could get the keys. I told him I had several of these so called scenarios in the past and seemed half the time it didn5 work or was cumbersome as hell. In this case it did NOT work and just kept putting me on an initial rental site. The proprietor who was one nice guy and very helpful tried to get the key combo and had the same problem. After about 20 minutes of computer shuck and jive we finally got a number. Not everybody out there is hyper computer savvy. It often has numerous problems like that day. Your employees ar3 great but since you ar3 shifting to some maddening as hell system count me out. I'll look at Penske or another company that doesn't send me down the computer gauntlet. By the way this was a pickup on a Wednesday during business hours. If your proprietor was not there I would have been 100% S.O.L. Check my rental past (numerous)Harold A.

After hours drop off, app kept asking to scan a bar code that did not exist. So I'm being charged for two extra days. Even after calling the 1-800 number and being told the app shouldn't be doing that. On top of that there was so much through traffic that finding a place to park the truck with trailer attached while trying to figure out the disaster of an after hours drop off was frustrating to say the least. I will never be renting a uHaul again nor will I be recommending it to any friends/coworkers. I never had this much trouble with Budget truck rentals.JESHUa H.

the 24/7 truck share service was a pain to say the least. Took over an hour and a half to finally get the truck and the customer service people were clueless when it came to helping us figure out how to actually pick up the truck. had to take a picture of every little detail when it came to picking up and returning it the whole process took a half hour each time alone to take and upload pictures. Was supposed to be less of a hassle but was the worst experience and would not recommend this to anybody. I was not provided with a furniture dolly and there was no one there to help me. I had to get the furniture I purchased so I ended up having to lift and carry a heavy sofa, chair and shelves. I hurt my back and spent the weekend in bed. The pick up/ drop off location was dark and scary. I was nervous leaving my vehicle there. I had to find my way in the dark to find the key pick up. It is near a apartment complex and there was a lot of traffic people walking around me and I did not feel safe trying to get the van checked in. While trying to take the pictures I was so nervous because the area is dark and people were walking behind me. I should not have been charged for the rental when the equipment was not provided. The dolly is an important part of a rental and there is no excuse for it not being provided. It is unacceptable and the location should take responsibility for the failure to provide the rented equipment.Tracy V.

When I called and made my reservation, the terms conditions and costs were all laid out. When I picked up my vehicle, all terms conditions and costs were repeated again. I then signed a contract stating those exact terms and two days later I get a notice on my email that they have taken out ADDITIONAL money from my credit card without prior knowledge. When I called to inquire I discovered that they had changed the contract - AFTER THE FACT!! And no one has responded to my attempts to rectify this deplorable circumstance. I am just so surprised! I have dealt with U-Haul for over 40 years and nothing like this has ever happened to me! I feel like a victim of bait and switch! And I am shaken by this experience.bruce W.

The gentleman in the store was friendly enough, but my experience on the phone booking this that was at your call center was not good. The back of the truck was dirty and the inside was dirty. I do not appreciate being billed for some fictitious event. What is it? Toll or fine? I will never rent a piece of equipment from you guys. I rented the trailer got billed for 25.00 and then the amount of the rental with insurance and then had a final bill for 6$ in fines. What state gives you a fine of $6.00? I never even crossed a toll road and when I called your company they couldn't even tell me what the $6.00 fine was for. They had no record of it. You will never get any positive rating from me.
