My only issue was the last minute change with my pick up location. I received confirmation for a 26' uhaul in one location but the location changed the following day and I had to drive an hour and 35 minutes instead of 15 minutes to pick up the truck.LLOYD S.

The nearest location UHAUL could find the trailer I needed was about 15 miles away, on the day I needed to pick up. There are much closer UHAUL locations, but trailer wasn't available. I understand that each is a franchise operation, but driving back 15 miles to drop off was unsatisfactory. Should allow customers to drop off closest location to where we wanted to pick up. It's not he customer's fault that each is individually owned franchise.David B.

Have rented from Daniel at The Wharf many times during a recent move. Great to deal with. In and out quickly, equipment well-maintained. Will use again when needed.Ollie A.
First, they did not have the 10 foot truck available to rent, so my only option was the more expensive 15 foot truck. Then I was charged a cleaning fee for dust in the back of the truck, so I went back and swept out the truck. The fee was supposedly reversed. 4 days later I was charged the cleaning fee again. Called back and was told to wait 3-5 additional days and it would be reversed again. We'll see what happens. When completing a simple task like renting a moving truck for 1 day, I don't appreciate dealing with the company for an additional week. I will definitely not be renting from this location in the future.ADAM S.

The wharf was Great. But the Rest of my experience with U-Haul was very bad. I set up a reservation on Monday and called to verify reservation on Tuesday. At 10 am they told me it was there and ready for me. Two hours later they call and tell me they rented it out. So they set me up with three guys auto for a car carrier. I call to verify and for two days they will not pick up the phone. The main office was very rude and no help at all. Waisted 6 hours of my time for a simple rental. If it was not for The Wharf site dealer going above and beyond his duty's. I would never deal with U-haul again.aDAM P.

Should learn how to rephrase questions to ensure customer has a better understanding of the process. After all it took time to make online reservation Additionally he said we had a quarter tan of gas.. The needle was on E Not professional. Attitude, disposition was terrible. One problem, u-haul should give people and extra 20 miles, just in case a person gets loss.Vermon L.
Your local branches aren't as knowledgeable about uhaul standards of practice. My advice for anyone is to deal with U-Haul directly vs calling local offices.David H.

The vehicles were better than the signage, would have been better if there had been some indication of where to pull in/park. Customer service rep was very nice, and a far more interesting store to wait as paperwork is processed than most.James C.

Returned trailer at 3:15pm. Sign in door indicated owner/operator was â€œout to lunchâ€. I took very good pictures of where I parked the rental. Called the Oneonta, NY rental location and indicated to them that I was leaving the trailer as there was no one on site. Received an email a short time later from the Lancaster, VA that trailer was in fact received and all was wellVic L.
