I was nervous about the whole process - reserving a U-Haul on a day when the shop was closed for business, having decent phone service to be able to use the app there, would a truck be there for me??? Turns out every step of the process was soooo easy! I had zero issues with the app AND the truck was waiting for me and had even been parked in such a way that I could easily pull out of the parking lot! On the whole this place was wonderful! Accomplished everything we needed to and it was helpful that there was a place to park my personal car while we used the Uhaul for an in-town move. The cab of the Uhaul we rented was definitely a little bit sticky/dirty, but honestly by the end of the moving process so were we, so it wasn't that big of a deal. I would definitely get a Uhaul from this location again.Emily B.

The online check in and return process was very cumbersome and time consuming. Not very user friendly. Also, location was not open during the pick up time which according to posted hours they were supposed to be open.Kevin F.

We got sent here without notice (the email informing us came 12 hours late. The location was wonderful and accommodating, but corporate U-Haul moving us sucked and was not well communicated.Zoe C.
Put in BOLD print that you could lose your reservation if you show up 45 minutes late. We got in just under the wire because we didn't realize. The nice lady who checked us into the truck did call to see what was up, just as we were pulling into the lot.Robert R.

Mobile pick up from the browser did not work. We tried for 30 minutes prior to our pick up, assuming when it did not work that we could pick up at the counter. We had no information that from 12:30-1:30, the pick up location was closed. After speaking to three different representatives, we were advised to download the app in order to complete the pick up. If this is the only way to use mobile pick up, it should be specified in the instructions. Truck was clean and reps were nice but pick up was extremely chaotic.Jeff B.

The service location, Triangle Tires, in Chapel Hill, NC, was great. The U-Haul billing process is not so great. I was quoted one rate and charged a different, higher rate - and have yet to see this corrected. This is not the fault of Triangle Tires, but the U-Haul billing process, which Triangle Tires apparently has no control over.Lionel W.

Don't send people to this tiny spot in the road U-Haul authorized dealer. After booking my truck a month earlier, it was changed the last day from a 10 to 20 foot, and away from the true U-Haul center. I had to ask the owner to let me take the 15 foot truck that had just been returned because I was driving into Manhattan for my move. This also created more area for my belongings to shift during a 12 hour drive moving. I was told the truck was full of gas yet the first â€œhalfâ€ a tank lasted 130 miles instead of 200 miles when I filled it up myself. Lastly because I was sent to a non U-Haul dealer I couldn't get the mattress protector or other moving supplies I needed from my pick up location.Dakota H.

The trailers are in a green field at the back of the business. Access is particularly painful and dangerous actually. The lady was helpful but I didn't have a great experience overall.owen M.

Cab of vehicle was strewn with litter. I was in a hurry and did not report it immediately. Upon returning the vehicle, I was charged an additional $45 + tax for cleaning vehicle, which was cleaned except for trash left by previous customer, found when I obtained the vehicle. Rental staff went to lunch and I was in a hurry and left key in drop box.Frank D.

Actually have a truck to rent once you give confirmation. It only took 2 days and 4 confirmation texts and 3 trips to 3 different locations to finally get a truck that was reserved over a week in advance. Someone went in the system after hours and cancelled my reservation. I had movers waiting which cost me money. I had to drive to a location 30mi away to pick up a truck. I had to drive 30mi back and then after all that, still got charged for mileage being over. If picked up at the reserve location, the extra mileage wouldn't have been accrued.Patricia W.

Your remote pick up on a Sunday sucks!! Not user friendly...only good if you're in hi speed internet area... wait times for help on phone were 1 hr... unacceptable will use another company if I need to pick up after hours... owner of triangle tire had to bail me out to get truck in Sunday... you owe her big thank you!!!James G.

Only major problem was that cell phone service here was so bad I almost could not get the app working to pick up the trick via the truck share option. If y'all are gonna keep with truck share you have to make sure the pickup locations get good enough cell service, otherwise it is a pretty good system.Alden R.
