I originally requested pick up in Bismarck ND at I-94 business loop U-Haul. Later I was directed to Tyre Mart, Why? Tyre Mart did not have the appliance cart I requested, they did not have the blankets I requested so now I was directed to go to U-Haul at I-94 Business Loop. Bad Business and customer unfriendly.

They only had 30 furniture pads, I had requested 48 online. They also didn't have the dolly I requested so I had to drive to the other side of town to pick one up at another uhaul location. What is the point of reserving items if they aren't there when you pick up your truck? Very frustrating.

The u-haul representative kept stating to the customer that the company had installed new software and no training was provided. The entire process to rent the car transport trailer entailed 45 minutes.

Had to wait to get truck. Only half tank of gas, windshield still dirty and stained. Truck had obviously been dropped, and immediately given to me. Waste of my time sorting it out, and no rebate as per guarantee on late delivery of truck, but then again, UHaul tends not to keep their promises.

I am not sure what U-hauls problem is but I rented a truck for 1 day and got charged for 3 days. And now I have a hold on $142 of my funds in my account for a $41 rental charge. What is wrong with U-Haul? There is no reason I should have a hold on funds in my account because they screwed up and didn't look at the contract that said for 1 day. I think Krystal needs to learn how to enter charges and U-Haul needs to learn how to clean their trucks and trailers and make sure they are operating correctly. 2 times now I have had an issue with U-Haul. I am about done with this crappy company. Are you that hungry for money that you would overbill a customer? Disgusting! Oh, the location I picked it up at were very helpful and nice.

Dolly in back wasnt strapped down, gas was lower than i was told and i have pictures to prove it. I dont care about ciggarette ashes in vehicle as long as i dont get blamed for them. 1.09 per mile is crazy, luckily didnt have to go far. Used truck 1 hour, 20 miles and was hundred bucks! So much for 39.99 advertisement. Not my first time renting a truck so i was aware, but they’re there whenya needem, hopefully you have an arm to spare. Tyre mart was awesome though, in and out service.

Tyre Mart was extremely disorganized and actually quite filthy, and I don't tend to care as about those things. When we arrived, we had to wait for them to clear the system from the previous dropoff & get us ready. During this period they helped other customers that arrived for Tyre Mart-specific businesses. In addition, we had rented furniture pads & a dolly, but neither were available. We were told not to worry about it. We then rented two appliance dollies. (Third note- The second appliance dolly I grabbed wasn't listed in their system, so I had to find one with the numbers that were in their system.) When we arrived at our destination, we discovered Tyre Mart never cleared from the system the fact that they didn't have furniture pads or the dolly for us. There was no attempt to rectify the situation. We were simply told that they had the appliance dollies available & that those were good enough. My wife is very short and struggled repeatedly using the much larger appliance dolly. General sloppy disorganization. This experience has made me distrust third party U-Haul contract dealerships. Our experience with U-Haul stores themselves have always been fantastic, and we will continue using U-Haul. (Just never Tyre Mart & will be especially on our guard for other third parties.) I'm rating two stars and not one simply because we got the truck.

make sure the reservation is at the time it supposed to be we reserve for 8 am and was sent the day before for 3:45 pm luckyly they returned earlier and we get it about nearly 10am otherwise will have to canceled all the hotel reservation

Location was very confusing, no signs whatsoever!! I called the location for help and they were extremely rude. They wouldn't even come out when we arrived I had to call them. NEVER again. There are other places out there! I feel that was a lot of money to be treated that way!!!!

Requested pickup at Interstate Ave. location which didn't happen. No one called to set up a time and confirm the location. I called the night before and found out the location was changed and time was set.

Truck was filthy outside and in. The location i was originally given to pick was the uhaul location. It was moved and i was not notified. The location also had the wrong dates from uhaul and nearly gave my truck away. Lasltly that truck has a knock in the engine and wont likely make it much further.it ran like it was on its last legs.

Scheduled a pick up for 7:00 AM at different location. Uhaul changed pick up location without notifying me and new location pick up at 10:00AM. Messed up my travel by 3 hours. Nothing done to communicate new info. or make this right. Never again will I do business with Uhaul.

The store did not have the equipment I reserved online. When I politely requested the problem to be fixed, I was advised to go to another Uhaul location to pick up the equipment. I was packing and moving my family's possessions, I did not have time to run around to different Uhaul locations to grab equipment I had reserved. I reserved two dollies and there was only one. When I suggested to use an appliance dolly in place of the dolly I had reserved, I was informed "It will cost me extra." Moving is already stressful, when you cant get the equipment you need to move it makes things harder. I felt that my problems were quickly brushed aside by staff and if my family was not present I would have flipped out. How can I reserve equipment online when its not even at the location I'm sent to? And if a mistake like that is made by the Uhaul system, should I not be helped?

The cab and the back were full of trash. The fellas printer dos t work so getting paperwork was an issue. I ordered everything on line couldn't get trailer or Dolly's or boxes like I had asked for. Nothing was ready. It was horrible experience.

Have the equipment available when it is reserved for, not 1 1/2 days later. This rating should not reflect the location, the person who helped me did everything he could. This rating reflects overall impression of U-Haul. This is the last company to consider for future equipment rentals.

Someone who worked changing tires helped me and worked hard to do so, was on the computer over an hour, perhaps an hour, 15 minutes or more to check me out. this was more than frustrating. But, he was thoughtful, stayed with the task and helped me hitch the trailer. So, I can't say I wouldn't recommend it. My guess is that he's seeking more training, or learned much from helping me.

I was charged $54.00 for being 1.5 hrs late. I did not think this was fair, because I was just told to have it back in Bismarck on Thursday. (7 May 15) The help new what they were doing.

I have no problems with this establishment, I was in and out fast, but getting to this location was a bit of a problem. I made the reservation on April 11th, online for the location at 1453 Interstate loop. I did this because it was the only one that opened at 7 am, the others opened at 9 am. I was never contacted for a schedule change by anyone by phone or e-mail. I arrived on the 30th at 7am and was told that my reservation was moved to the KOA location and that they tried to call but got a busy signal, which is impossible on a cell phone with call waiting and a messaging system. I waited until 9 am, time I could have spent packing the truck, to go to the KOA location at 3720 Centennial Road. Upon arrival I saw no trucks the size that I ordered. Mark Roeder helped us and informed us that our reservation was actually moved to the Tyre Mart location, it took him all of about 5 minutes to help us and was very helpful, as opposed to the people at the Interstate location. If there was any other company in Bismarck I would recommend they use them based on my experience with the Interstate location. The person who helped me there could not even get me to the correct location and the "someone called you" statement is just an outright lie, obviously this location needs some help.

Staff seemed preoccupied with primary business and seemed that a uhaul customer was a burden. After the initial impression staff were friendly and helpful, short of supplies could not provide packing blankets that I had requested.
