I had to wait an hour to be seen , even though I did a mobile check-in! This location did not have the truck I reserved, and after a complete hr they sent me to another location which did not honor my reservations and over charged me $60.00. I am truly disappointed with uhaul and next time I'm taking my buisness else where.

Emilia Rivera, the representative who assisted me, is simply outstanding at her job. I have made several reservations at this location in the last 10 days, and she has helped me with each one promptly, courteously, and with a great attitude. On top of that, I have witnessed her defuse a tense interaction with a frustrated customer, who left the location smiling and happy, and gracefully serve a customer with a hearing impairment in such a way that he felt comfortable and had all of his questions answered. She's the best!

There is no drop box for the key when returning the truck, so I spent over 30 minutes trying to find the drop box and on hold with customer service to figure out what to do with the key so I wouldn’t be charged. This made an otherwise efficient process extremely inefficient.

The service was very slow. Although I had already submitted all of my information online through a reservation, I had to go through it all over again when I arrived at the store. When I returned my rental, the agent seemed surprised that I needed help detaching the trailer and that I wanted a receipt. On the way back into the store, he told me to go inside without him, while he talked to a friend for at least 5 minutes. When I finally asked the other associate, who was behind the desk to help me, she just told me that she wasn't logged into the computer (even though she was using it). I won't be back.

Computer was down and the representative had to process the request on a cell phone. The cell phone was not working properly. The vehicle was great, the customer service rep was really nice and did everything he could. Store equipment was the issue

I was told the truck had 1/4 tank of gas but on paperwork it was marked 1/2. The truck had been freshly painted inside the box area and when I tried to open it I couldn't because it was painted shut. I got in the truck and when I inserted the key the steering wheel was locked up. The lady at the desk came out and did something with the key along the lines of jiggling it. I left the facility and noticed tire pressure light was on took it back to store and was told all the trucks did that and not to worry. My brother in law showed me the trick with the key. I would not use uhaul again.

The General Manager Porscha Lance was not inviting or very cooperative. She was not helpful nor was her friend (female) staff with the exception of Saquain Williams. The other female staff was not on duty and was told to clock in to help assist me outside with my equipment. She was argumentative and made me wait longer because she went back into the building to figure out what was going on according to her even though she had my contract in her hands because she asked me for it. Porscha was not very professional by allowing an infant child sit in her lap while working on my order. She asked me my name several times even after having had my drivers license in her possession. I had previously reserved equipment at least a week in advance and confirmed with her over the phone the day prior to my rental. She did not traffic my drop off to a nearby location. I purchased a dolly that I eventually found to be broken later that day. Also it took well over an hour to get my equipment due to unprofessionalism and lack of etiquette and customer service. I would never recommend this center to anyone!

The truck box was dirty. It looked like the last person used it for yard maintenance. I swept it out myself before using it but that still didn't keep my furniture from getting filthy. The passenger side mirror would not stay in adjustment leaving me completely blind on the right side of the 26 foot vehicle. The staff were incredibly slow and under staffed at the counter.

We were unable to located the after hours key drop. We searched around the whole facility and ended up calling customer service for help. They said the box should have been at the entrance door which it was not. We looked for over 30 minutes. In the end the customer service representative on the phone agreed that sliding the key and tag through the crack in the front door was the best suggestion. The key box for Pick up was easy to find, but no drop off. This would make the 24/7 drop off easier for the customer.

First, have personnel that are properly trained in all things U-Haul. They were not knowledgeable and what should have taken 5-10 minutes took over 45 minutes. It wasn't just our situation. They had to call the manager, almost charged the wrong account, had trouble keeping customer accounts and situations straight. The personnel was very apologetic and polite but the manager had to be called repeatedly due to lack of knowledge.

you need to get people in office that understands the computer and during reservations I had a total of $444.29 that I have lost with U-Haul they say I owe something for $220 I do not owe $220 to U-Haul I have had U-Haul trucks in the prior if that's the case I would not been able to rent from U-Haul I am so disgusted I have lost out so much money with U-Haul in this last move that I had to make with my children I stay on the phone multiple times made trips to the office different offices I never had storage with U-Haul in the past at all there had to be a mess up me and my mother has the same exact initials and I have been going through this for years the same and there's just a look at the first initial and the last name and it be so much confusion I am just like disgusted I would not recommend anyone to go to location on two notch Road where the old Ford place used to be there so unprofessional there there was one young lady there she gave so much help she gave the paperwork that I did it but she could never find in the system where I owed $222.49 so that's just what he lost for me and my family thank you for this opportunity to do a review for U-Haul in a location that I had used.

Truck broke down twice-finally had to be towed to off load site. Location General Manager lacking in good customer service skills. I would definitely NOT use this location again nor recommend it

Was sent a text confirming that I had a rental at 3pm after attempting to book a truck at 12. Initially was told that I wasn't going to get a truck that day. I asked for any truck available and received a call after the starting that there was a 26 foot truck available. After agreeing to take the 26 foot truck we arrived at the facility. I was told that the truck was just serviced. After 20 miles the truck began pouring smoke. We had to call u haul roadside assistance and was told we had to wait an hour. Turned out after working with the roadside mechanic, he said that the cause was due to the connection at the transmission cooler was not properly tightened by the previous mechanic that worked on the truck. Because of this, it took us 6 hours to travel from columbia to north Augusta sc. Quite frankly that's unacceptable.

I arrived at 815 am. I had prepaid and completed online express check in. I needed to purchase an adapter. The adapter was available but not showing in the inventory and the debit card machine was not working. It required the manager who was on the phone (I could hear the conversation and it was personal) for over 35 MINUTES! while I stood there at the counter. I finally got checked out and the employee hooked up the trailer, went to the back to make sure the lights were working and told me all was good and I could leave. I drove 25 minutes home to load and discovered a pad lock that I had no key for. I called, spoke with the manager and was told my only option was to come back and they would remove it. I drove another 25 minutes and when I arrived the manager had went home "sick" AND HAD TAKEN THE KEY HOME WITH HER!!! I then had to wait 20 more minutes for her husband to bring the key and drive home again to load. We were scheduled to leave our house packed at 10 am but because of this inexcusable ineptitude by Uhaul we left 2 1/2 hour late which caused many issues with our trip. After this trip if I ever use Uhaul again it will not be this location. We are very disappointed and upset with the extreme frustration and significant extra expense created by a Uhaul employee that doesn't care about customer service

I had the best u-haul experience ever, I rented a Truck on a very nasty rainy day,and my movers cancelled on me, before I could even get the truck off the property. Porsha was wondering kind and patient, through it all, and as obvious as it was,that Porsha wasn't feeling well,she made my situation her #1 priority the horrible day that I was having,turned into a wonderful day with her kind words..she was genuinely concerned about her customers...and that meant the world to me... Retrain your employees. The manager was very rude and obnoxious. She had her friends in the store, harassing the customers and was very very rude to her own employees. The wait time for me to return my truck was over 45 minutes and when I tried to return my unused boxes, I had to wait over an hour. I will not be using this business to accommodate my moving needs.

Porsha was great. Recommended the right truck for what we needed. Accomadated us for the extra days we had to extend the truck and referred us to your decker road storage facility to store our items until our RV is fixed. Would definitely recommend your facility
