CANADA I | First ImpressionsYou have some locations that employees care about customer service! And other locations that the employees don’t care about the customer it’s just a job. U-Haul as a company has areas of customer service that they blame on other companies/people because they thought that conjoining their business to create more business for themselves would work. It has not U-Haul lies about their extra services especially when moving across country. My experience with U-Haul has left me with even more anxiety than I expected. U-Haul also tries to make you believe theyre helping you! I was approached to add a trailer loaded with another family’s belongings for a $875 credit which didn’t even cover the cost of gasoline on my trip across Canada. Also the trailer hitch does not have a lock on the ball hitch therefore someone during your travel could steal the trailer and YOU are responsible for that! U-haul looks for free labour and puts the responsibility on you as a renter! I have to say I’m not really happy with company but I got lucky in dealing with some employees that are willing to help you instead of those that say “I don’t know, I can’t help you” in other words figure it out yourself!

RAMY A | First ImpressionsThe manager is a piece of garbage and every worker has different opinions on how to access the storage with vehicles. Also received a smaller truck then I wanted with a battery needing to be changed and 8km of gas on the tank. Had to argue to get my 60$ gas reimbursement.

Fortunately an employee was still on site to let us in. Would be great if Uhaul offered mailbox and safety deposit box service.
