How U-Haul Reviews WorkThank you for requesting a review. I'm happy to let you know just how terrible this facility is. Firstly, I have been using this facility for the past six years out of convenience, as I have a lot of belongings to store. However, I recently moved out because I'm tired of paying monthly storage fees for a facility where, after going through my belongings, I've discovered that so much of what I've stored will ultimately have to be thrown away due to the musty smell, rat droppings, and urine. Many of my belongings have been contaminated to the point where they are essentially ruined. After paying storage fees for six years, I find it incredibly frustrating that so much of what I was paying to store is now going in the garbage. There were rat droppings all over and on top of my totes, and my bags had been ripped open by whatever was getting into them. Many of my belongings also had urine on them. I've literally had to sweep the rat droppings out myself. As far as heating goes, it's not on at all, as it is extremely cold in there, which has contributed to the musty smell of my belongings, particularly my clothing The hours are not convenient at all. Most other storage facilities offer 24-hour access, or until 10 or 11 pm, but not this place. Another issue is that there is only one cart available to move your belongings around. If you arrive and someone else is using it, you're out of luck. Having only one cart available for the entire facility is simply not adequate. What I find particularly frustrating is that the fees kept increasing over the years, supposedly to cover things like maintaining and keeping the facility clean. Given the condition of the facility, the rat droppings, the urine, and the damage to my belongings, I honestly don't understand what I'm paying those additional fees for. From what I've experienced firsthand, the facility is clearly not being kept clean to an acceptable standard. I would definitely not recommend U-Haul to anyone. I will, however, be letting people know about the condition of this facility and the disgusting state of affairs I've experienced firsthand. After six years of paying to store my belongings here, this has been an extremely disappointing experience.
Tanya F | Overall ExperienceStaff was good, facility was good until we were overrun with mice. Had damage to quite a few items. We were reimbursed for damage to our brand new refrigerator but through our fabric and a wine kit blankets at our expense. The yard is overcrowded and getting to the door to load things was a challenge. They are very busy and are overrun with equipment and containers so it’s very congested. We could deal with everything except the mice that was a mess. They tried to deal with it we moved everything a clean unit next door but the mice followed. The units aren’t sealed so all the units around us also had mice. I was told one unit had a lot of food in it and probably started the problem. The staff did their best to get rid of them and were good to deal with but the damage was done.
Justin P | Overall ExperienceFree 1 month storage should match the volume of the truck rented by customer. I rented a 20 foot truck. I get a free storage for 1 month free half the size of the truck. So l had to pay extra for another storage for 1 month.

Mitchell G | Overall ExperienceThis was a shocking and horrendous experience. The unit was filthy, the loading ramp was broken on move in, the freight elevator broken on move out. The loading dock was blocked by U-Haul trucks on move out which meant we had to haul everything out to the street. Most disturbing was the number of street people living in the units. They set up their patio on the concrete loading dock, actively used substances and the entire storage building smelled of urine. This was shared with the clerk upon check out who did not react. I will not use U-Haul again, for any service.

On the finally day we rented a UhAul truck to empty the unite there were bins in the way took them time to Move them, they didn’t move them all and we couldn’t get the truck angled to easily load. Overall it has not been a great experience using this facility. On top do that the truck we rented was already so abused and ran extremely ruff.
