Transparency on the overall prices. Fees, etc. Should be noted upfront. My uhual went from 90 to 140 by the end for 12 hours and 18 miles. Very disappointed will not recommend to anyone.

I just rented a 26' U-Haul truck two years ago in Greenville, SC, and I didn't have to go through all the red tape that I did this time for a 10' truck. The Aepex location--bless their hearts--are a brand new franchise. This truck was on the U-Haul equipment there, and the guy on duty didn't speak very good English. He kept telling me to call the national U-Haul number to get a code. I did so, and then was told to download the app. As I worked my way through the app, taking pictures, filling out personal information, the app froze on me. I called U-Haul district office in Gainesville, and got re-routed to the national number. I was told to close the app and re-open it. When I did so, I finally got a code to open the lock, and get the key. More pictures to approve and take. It took me 3 times as long to rent this truck than it did two years ago, and I was on a schedule. I'm not happy with the rental process. However, the truck was fairly new and was great! Check-in was great!
