Customer service was terrible. The person at the office entered incorrect information on my contract and when I pointed that out, he shouted at me.

This experience was so bad my company is looking for other rental company options to never use Uhaul again. Our vehicle was given away and I was shuffled around town. Eventually I got to Cal Super Gas and the man behind the counter was rude, nasty, condescending and a misogynist. Eventually after belittling me the rental was complete. As he was handing me the keys a customer came in to prepay for gas. He stopped to help that customer. Three more people got in line to purchase snacks from the store and he helped them all and made me stand there. One of the men in line told him to help me first and he said "NO". When the line was clear he walked me outside. Pointed and said it's over there. Then walked away. Why did he make me wait if he wasn't walking me to the vehicle? When I got inside it wasn't the cleanest van I've rented plus the engine light was on, it was out of washer fluid and tire pressure was low. NEVER AGAIN. We rent multiple vans/box trucks a month for work and we will never go there again. We are quoting out Penske and other van options to avoid Uhaul due to his attitude and a frequent issue with the computer system which loses our reservations. Terrible.

I couldn't help but notice you are taking a review of a location and not uhaul itself. The uhaul experience itself, as always, was terrible. My location was moved via voicemail and told the new location would call us.. they never did. I called uhaul the morning of the move only to wait on hold for 10 minutes and confirm that the truck was at the new location. Then we went and IT WASN'T THERE. So then we had to call uhaul and wait on hold again to be told the truck was at a 3rd, different location. So we went there to finally get our truck. I'll never use uhaul again. you suck. It's always a bad experience. you make moving hard.. that should be your slogan.

No place available to park the U-Haul truck

Was more difficult to use the mobile app for check-in than to do it in person. The man at the service station was very helpful and was able to get us set up.

The gentleman that helped me was very rude. I was told when picking up my U-Haul I could drop it off at any location. I had called prior to dropping this vehicle off because they were still open after 5pm on a Sunday. I just wanted to return the truck before the work week started and not worry about the whole moving process anymore. The gentleman that helped me kept stating that we needed to call before to drop the vehicle off at this specific location. It would have been a acceptable drop-off if the guy would get the chip off of his shoulder and wasn't taking it out on me. If you don't want people dropping off their U-Haul trucks at your gas station, don't have this U-Haul drop-off service as a side business.

I reserved a van online to be picked up after hours. The day of, I called to confirm that it would be there since I had never done an after hours pick up before and could not afford for anything to go wrong. I was assured it would be there and that a key would be available after following the online prompts. When I was dropped off that night I signed into the UHaul site and was promptly notified that the van had not been left for me, nor was any other vehicle available at that site. I had to get an Uber to another site and was rented a 10' truck which was not at all appropriate for my needs and destroyed my weekend. Now I was an hour behind in my schedule. And adding insult to injury, the truck was dirty with junk from the previous renter, had manual windows and outside mirrors, a faulty dashboard computer, no working inside lights, and I was charged a higher rate than the van in spite of being told I wouldn't be. I am going to request a total refund and I will never use UHaul again!

We picked up our car trailer at the Midway Ave location in San Diego. They did a HORRIBLE job. The guy did not hook it up correctly and when he instructed me to drive my car onto it, the entire front of the trailer popped up in the air. When I backed off of it, the front of the trailer dropped down under the truck which he had to then pull forward and it popped back up. It was nerve-wracking to say the least. He also left the fender over the left trailer tires down & was going to let me drive off like that. I had to get out of the truck & put it in the upright position, and not being familiar with it was not aware there wax a rubber knob to secure it (they never reviewed anything with me). To top it off, Saturday morning A couple of hours into our drive up I5, several people driving by me were frantically waving to me to pull over. I got off at the Castaic exit and saw that the left ramp to drive the car onto the trailer was COMPLETELY out and dragging on the highway. I slid it back in and saw that the latch to hold it in was jammed. The guy at Midway who put the ramps up just let me leave with it in that condition. I don’t deal with this type of equipment daily & even I immediately saw that it was broken. I went to the UHaul location at the Rodeway Inn in Castaic and the maintenance gentleman named Jose got the latch working with WD-40 and a hammer after about 10 minutes (I was very thankful for him). I was so nervous & stressed out the entire drive to Brentwood, wondering the whole time if my car or the entire trailer was going to come off the truck. When we got to the drop off location to drop off the car trailer, the proprietor said the car was not strapped down tightly at all. Just another failure and show of incompetence or complete lack of care by the crew at the Midway location. Worst experience I’ve ever had dealing with any company ever. I did not feel safe at all.

Very efficient and great customer service. Nice and easy to re-fill gas too,

I thought that the 19.99 was a good deal but when you add in the 79 cents per mile and then adding the gas Uhaul is NO deal. Some robbers use a gun but you use mileage and gas. Will not use Uhaul again

So many things wrong with this experience. I didn't even care that the van was disgusting inside, but rather the sketchy location, unfriendly service, and miscommunication between location and uhaul on the phone. Was over charged when I was told It wouldn't be. After explaining myself over and over to attendant he finally waived one fee that was ridiculous. Other than location, i'm very disappointed with UHAUL in general. Have never had a bad experience with them, until yesterday.

Improve your business. Your customer service reps are complete garbage and counter representative was rude and unhelpful. I will go through great lengths to avoid your train wreck of a company in the future. Fuck all of you.

I pre-ordered a furniture dolly but he didn't have one available and didn't know who might. I went to a second U-haul station and they didn't have one either. Both offered me a hand truck, which was useless for my needs. If I order equipment, your system should be able to determine that it's available and, if it is not, to offer an alternate location to obtain that equipment. My move would have gone much smoother with the furniture dolly I couldn't find.
