So, let me start by saying that the location itself and the 4 separate uhaul employees I had to speak with over the phone were all great. Last time we rented, I wasn't impressed because the truck said 2-3 bedroom house and it didn't even fit our 2 bedroom apartment. This time, it was as if I went down the rabbit hole and ended up in a uhaul rental sci-fi where uhaul itself had both forgotten how to rent things out and become allergic to the very process of renting. This point was drilled home with stunning clarity right around that 8 hour mark of me having the truck. A gentleman called and asked me if I was going to pick up truck. When I responded that I already had the truck, he said I needed to pay. I pointed out that 1) they had a card on file for me and 2) I'm not done driving so we don't know what I owe. I proceeded slowly talk him off the ledge and explain that the truck was safe and my money was good. I'm sure he was frantically looking for a box to check to move on to the next screen and must of settled on the uhaul equivalent for "What in the truck is even that... how did we do what we just did?!?!" So, in the end I got the truck and did the thing... met a lot of confused and lost uhaul employees along the way (Noah was the man though), and I'm thankful that the vehicle works better than Uhaul's rental systems. My advice to uhaul, now that you're settled in and probably going to stick with the whole rental thing... maybe scrap the system you had your cousins ex-boyfriend code for you over the weekend and get some real programmers to write you high level programs and apps. On that note, can you please confirm to your app that I will not be time traveling to yesterday morning and picking the truck up... again, it can stop asking me now.

Josh's repair is awesome, friendly and accommodating.... U-Haul on the other hand is an absolute nightmare to deal with....really going down hill and their reservation process is a joke.
ELISABETH SDirections for pickup stated the key would be placed in lock box #3. Lockbox #3 did not exist. When speaking with a U-Haul representative, the directions for pick up were that the key could be found in the back of the truck. The back of the truck was not locked, and no key was found. Another larger truck was then offered to me, with accurate directions and a key present. However, this delayed my move by ~2 hours. I was not appropriately compensated for being delayed two hours and for the extra gas I likely used driving a larger truck for nine hours.
Michael CA Quicker check in and out system would be nice.
ALFRED MThe front desk clerk appeared to be distracted with a few things happening at once. She was not clear on pick up instructions. My dolly was in the unit that I pre ordered.
