We had to keep the truck for an extra day to our apartment pushing our move in date back. My wife called and told the lady who answered the phone that we would bring it back Tuesday afternoon, we wouldn't get our keys until Tuesday at 9. They said "that was fine, they would get everything handled when we turned it in." I started my first day of work with a new company on Tuesday, and I started receiving phone calls asking where the truck was. I explained that we had called them the day before, and was told it was fine. Then they informed me that has a reservation for the truck and needed it before 12. It was 9:30... so my wife was stuck trying to unload a 26 foot truck by herself... fortunately, I explained everything to my employer, and they let me go help get everything moved in. When we returned the truck, I was told it was going to be a few minutes until they finished up with the customer.. after waiting for 20 minutes, the employee was calling and trying to order a birthday cake for her daughter's 18th birthday. A gentleman came and got the keys from me, and said they would email a receipt.CALEB L.
Make it more clear where to go to check in. I stood in front of what looked like a parts counter for 10 minutes while the man behind then counter was chatting with another customer before someone came out from a back office and said they could help me back there. Then after I had supplied all my info online including credit card and drivers license, I had to supply the same information again. The woman was nice enough during check in but inconvenient for me to have to provide information twice.Dana D.
Cancel their franchise. Worse U-Haul experience in 30 years of renting!!! Unfriendly. Pompus. Etc.. Not just to me, at least they are consistent. Stood around, alot. Made damage reports, claims that were clearly done well before my rent. I will never do business here, ever!Tommy R.
Let me tell you. For reference, I am a woman in my early 20's. I had to move out of my apartment previously shared with my ex boyfriend into a new apartment. I was working when I found out about having to move, so I gave my mother all my information and asked her to rent me a uhaul, only needed like a 10' truck (I don't have much stuff) this woman turned around and rented me a 26' truck. I get there, get the paperwork done, sign everything, get my keys etc. friendly staff, wonderful service. They pulled out that truck and my heart dropped. I said a quick prayer and I bucked up and hopped in that truck. I was scared shitless, cursing and praying every breath. That thing drove so smoothly, was east to handle, and was not as bad as I was expecting. This was my first ever uhaul rental, and it was amazing.Katelyn W.

I scheduled far in advanced to pick up my equipment locally and then uhaul moved it and it severely inconvenienced me. I called uhaul and they stated that they would give me a 50$ credit which I have yet to see. Bad experience overall with uhaul and I will not be using them again.Michael O.
I called U-Haul a week in advance with my reservation and was given the link to pick up the truck using my smartphone. I then called the location the day in advance to verify if I could pick up the truck the next day using my phone. Upon arrival that morning planning to pick up the truck between 7 and 7:30 my phone and your link instructed me that I was picking up the truck in person which is something I never spoke about or intended to do. It it created a 2-hour delay to start my move which required 7 hours or more to make this long-distance move. It inconvenienced the company who loaded my truck and a friend who was helping me. I then was given a truck with a quarter tank of gas and this required another inconvenient stop which was not planned. Upon returning the truck I was surprised and how much information photos give me the dashboard the truck were required to drop it off. I would have paid $20 had I known it was going to be this time consuming.Matt W.

I had rented a 5x8, I got a 4x8 and it seemed to me , "take it or don't ". I was over charged on the return. I filed a complaint and haven't had a phone call.JOYCE P.
I completed by Ubox contact here on 1/26/21 . I paid for the truck, mileage and took the Ubox that was shipped from Orlando ( where I already paid the $79.95 storage fee for a month . Today nearly 3 months later , they called me and asked if I had rented a Ubox , I said yes and she said thank you and hung up . Then she charged my account $85.15 again for storage ! She told me to go ahead and fight it when I called back. I use uhaul often and have never had such a poor experience. Angelique is who contacted me .robin M.

Location was changed the day before pick up and was further from our house, so we had to pay overage fees for mileage. The pick up location was busy that morning, so we had to wait almost an hour to get our truck. Some staff were friendly, but the woman who checked us out was snippy when we asked if there was an issue with our rental.Edward R.
I had rented a strapped appliance dolly and blankets. When I opened the back of the truck, there is another bag of blankets and a regular dolly attached to the wall of he truck. I had to pay if I used them, but the problem is they were in my way. Especially the dolly. Next time I will ask for them to be removed before I rent a truck.
