The location was not an issue. It was customer service who scheduled my reservation wrong and I had to go and wait a couple hours in bad weather with my 5 year old to get let in a truck. The truck was not bad dirty but definitely was handed in cleaner. It was as if it had been parked on a rainy day. The man who rented us the truck did meet us prior to opening to resolve situation but still on uhaul, I waited 2 and a half hours in bad weather for a truck was overcharged, given wrong charge upon return. I might have to rent elsewhere. I had a 5 minute interaction in person with the man and it was as if I did something wrong.

Upon arrival, I had a hard time getting the lock to work to retrieve the key. I accessed the “Live Chat” feature from U-haul and they gave me a number to call. The number was disconnected. I was then told to call an 800 number that left me in a que for 15-20 minutes before it dropped me. I had to call a friend to come and get the lock off (which was rusted and sticking). The check engine light was on, vehicle was “struggling,” and the right passenger side rear view mirror was shattered and missing pieces.

Your pick up by phone was not a good experience!! I had to wait till Uhaul open because the app wasn't working. Per the person at the store they have the problem all the time.

The online services of Uhaul for picking it up is easily the worst experience I've had with any form of online booking. I had to wait for an hour before I could pick up my Uhaul from the place. I ended up having to get the office to give it to me because the online services were so poor. Wasted money and my time. I will not use Uhaul ever again to move. The establishment itself was well maintained and all the people working were very friendly. Due to Covid-19 I was hoping to do everything online and have limited human interaction but Uhaul decided that wasn't in my best interest.

When I first telephoned regarding availability it took quite a long time for the rep at the facility to be able to tell me if they had what I wanted available, I was very close to calling another facility. On getting a positive response I went to the business, the rental process went smoothly. I was told where the trailer was and that one of two people would be out to assist me, After waiting for a few minutes and not seeing anyone heading my way, I hooked up the trailer, checked the lights and did what I had to do. Returned the trailer a few hours later, unhooked it and set it back in place, then went into the building and informed the rep the trailer was back and where it was.

The receptionist was very knowledgeable, polite and professional. She explained things in a clear and concise manner. The truck wasn't very unclean except the windshield had some splatter on it making it difficult to see out of the windshield. I don't like that UHaul requires the purchase of insurance; making the actual base rental cost $29.95 instead of the advertised cost. Very misleading. The rental location has no control over this, but it puts them in a bad position. Try being truthful. No personal insurance policy is going to mention “coverage for UHaul vehicles“ specifically as you require. This may be legal, but certainly not ethical business practice.

If return falls on a Sunday, remind them how to do it. Luckily I remembered from years ago, and searched (in the rain) till I found a "crack" in the gate and found the key-drop-box (the drop-box and the small entrance was blocked by a car, otherwise I would have seen it earlier). All in all, great experience. thank you!

The need maintenance light was on in truck. Also, I was charged for 10 miles and only went about 3 miles. I emailed location about making an adjustment but received no response.

The tiedowns on the car dolly were corroded and nearly unusable. I dowsed them with oil and was able get them to ratchet down but they loosened up on their own during towing. Not good.
