Pick up was great and location service was outstanding. The truck was clean but load, transmission/engine issues. Hard to maintain speed. Truck needs repair or replacement.

They do not use the on line pre-booking data I downloaded, (copy of DL, etc. Very slow getting truck. Reserved trailer for hauling golf cart. Trailer was far to large and not appropriate to haul golf cart. Had to bring back the next day. Lost a day and will require a second trip to SC.

Minor irritation: our pick up location changed and we were not notified. Not the worst thing ever but not a good look for U-haul either. Kudos to Reed, the employee who helped us at the Duncan Ace Hardware location who was very helpful and friendly.

I reserved the trailer to be picked up at a location closer to me a week in advance. But the day before I received an email informing me it was going to be at a different location. No point in doing advance reservations if itâ€™s not going to be where it says at the time of the reservation.
Rep told me would charge me $169 ... I didnâ€™t look at the contract because I trusted him.. I was charged $240.. very disappointed...
Phone check in us buggy to day the least. Took me over 1 hour to receive the truck. I really donâ€™t understand why the alternate contact when you pick up the vehicle canâ€™t be the same alternate contact when you create the contract/reservation. Once I get the message that the phone needs to be different phone number for the alternate contact, the app continue to reject any other numbers until I log out and log back in
I rented a 20ft from 7:00 - 1:30pm. After loading I realized I would need the vehicle for a full day. I called uhaul to ask for an extension they said okay and I would be charged for additional $75 to keep the vehicle to 1:30 the next day. Not great but cool! But then the Ace Duncan manager(?) called me to ultimately complain to me about how he had another reservation for that vehicle at 1:30pm. And explain the correct process would be to inform the store rather than uhaul of any changes to reservations. As a note to the person that called. I didnâ€™t feel this was professional. Businesses have to readily be able to make and assess changes with a smile. Customer service is about how you make your customers feel doing business with you and how you bring them back to you. Also, during a time like this itâ€™s better to be yielding and courteous towards peopleâ€™s situations even if you are unaware of their circumstances. Please make note of these in the future.
Wait time to pick-up and return was a little long because only 1 person can do it and they have to also handle other tasks that apparently only they can do. The people are always friendly, knowledgeable, and care about their customers.

Make it like easier for someone driving truck with trailer to pull in & drop it off as reqested. I didn't have room needed to undo trailer as instructed. Or gave a place to leave it.

The gentlemen that assisted with my rental was very eager to help and ensure that we were 100% squared away, he was very detailed as well which I greatly appreciated. Whenever I may need a U-Haul again Iâ€™ll definitely be coming back to this location.
PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR SYSTEM IS UPDATED. IT PUTS CUSTOMERS BEHIND THERE SCHEDULED TIME AND IT IS NOT FAIR WHEN U HAVE A PLAN. ALSO YOUR COMPUTERS NEED TO BE UPDATED LIKE GET THEM NEW ONES!
Everything was great and the customer service was great.
I used a prepaid debit card when I rented my truck. I had a credit of 30 + dollars that should have been returned to my card. However the two gentlemen could not figure out how to give me my refund so they said the rental agreement was on hold for a refund until a manager could return my money! I'm still waiting..... Not very happy with this location!
