I showed up to drop off the truck rental at about 1:30pm on Saturday and the sign on the door read ‘be back soon’ and the clock face was set to 1:30pm indicating the worker would be back at that time. I waited another 15 min for the guy to show up, he seemed rushed though he only had one other customer in front of me. He told me it would be good and to just take off, but I insisted on having him check it in to ensure no extra charges were accessed. He ‘checked it in’ and said I was good to go and that I would get an email with the receipt. I asked for a printed receipt but he insisted it was all set and would be sent via email. Come Tuesday I receive a call from Uhaul corporate asking if I’m having trouble checking in or finding a drop off point, at which time I realized HE DIDNT EVEN CHECK IT IN!!! He was either not trained properly, or simply doesn’t have any work ethic, but for all I know he wanted me to leave before he checked the truck so he could charge me extra. My family has dealt with this employee before and has had similar experiences. Needless to say, if this employee is present during my next move I will be exploring other options.

I made the reservation at a different location as it was convenient for me. I do not understand why I had to go to a different location 5 miles away. especially when you charge mileage. This was used for gathering items for Christmas needs for families in the area.

was not there when we returned truck because they closed early - yet they put us on some kind of promissory note about money we owed. Uhaul over all keeps taking money from our account for things that they should not be. Very disturbing how they can just randomly take $45 then $6 from our account for "citations" that could not possibly exist.

system and technology for checking out the vehicle was slow and the computer froze, spent 20 minutes with the worker to get contract signed and processed and printed.

Have a caring attitude. Act like the customer is not a bother. Have return spaces clearly marked. If you see a customer struggling outside, possibly go out and direct them instead of watching from inside.

Would recommend that this location change its process on rental returns to provide a closure receipt to the customer at the time of return. I had to request a closure receipt 3 days later and did not get confirmation until 5 days later.

Internet service lousy and made returning hard. Took 25/30 minutes to start the process and it was irritating. In person was not available even though the sign indicated they would be returning but not while I was there. Self-service is great but better internet would allow a smoother process and avoid another chargeable period; I am dissatisfied with UHaul and to be charged another period (for minutes) for your shortcomings is reason enough for me to go to someone else. I have used uhaul numerous times in the last 7 years but that will change if the poor customer service is what it has come to. Julia Mays

Manager lacked some customer service skills. Apparently there was a new POS system installed the day before and we were the first people to run our card. Almost gleefully told us our card had been "straight up declined". When we said that wasn't possible - he told us that some banks hold money than the rental price if you use a debit card for car rentals and if we only had just a little more in our account than the amount being debited - it wouldn't work. When we insisted that could not be the case - he ran the card as a credit and would you believe - it ran right through and was accepted. I don't like being treated like a.) an idiot or b.) like dirt because he assumed (and incorrectly) that we didn't have the money to pay for the rental. It was unprofessional. Learn your system and your manners my friend.

The area where the trailers and trucks are "staged" for pickup and then required to be left at drop-off is a bit tight and difficult to maneuver.
