The app locked up multiple times and had to be restarted when checking out the truck. It finally worked, thankfully there was free WIFI in McFarland. 4G was very slow uploading photos The overall process and flow was interesting when using the APP, I'm sure it will improve in time.

This is Uhaul specific feedback, but I did not appreciate having the dolly and moving blankets attached to the wall of the truck. I expected to have the entire space available, not the space -10 cubic feet for equipment for which I had no need.

The owner, Brian, was extremely rude and gave extremely poor service. I purchased moving blankets but never received them. Brian told me that he could not guarantee a credit for the blankets that were never used or opened ( since they were never given to me for my move). Subsequently, my furniture was scratched due to not having moving blankets. I'm displeased that my concern for the $10.00 credit was reluctantly credited and my feelings were minimized. I'll never return to this store.

I reserved a 10 foot uhaul for this location, had my confirmation number but when I went to pick up it was not there. The employees said it was just to reserve one but it doesn't mean that it would be at that location even though that was the location I chose to pick it up from. I had to argue to with the employees who finally gave in & let us use a 15 foot for the price of the 10 foot. My question is if what I'm reserving isn't going to be available for when & where I need it then why would I be able to reserve it for that time & location? I reserved it for 10am & they said it wasn't available until after 4pm. I never had a problem before at this location but they were not trying to help at all until we started complaining which I really don't like doing; very disappointing.


I started to use the app when I picked up the vehichle, but decided to go into the store instead. So glad I did. The whole process was very easy!

My reservation was for 8/1/2020. I received a call on 07/31 saying my reservation was moved to 8/2/2020 and pick up was moved to a different location. This was a HUGE inconvenience as we ham had all of our help scheduled for 8/1. The new location pick up was awesome and understanding but UHAUL was a major disappointment in moving my reservation the day before our move. VERY VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED IN UHAUL for this extreme inconvenience!!!!!!

I rented the 6x12 enclosed trailer and was amazed to find that it did not have a jack on the tongue. I am 57 years old and in excellent shape, but the tongue weight was way too much for me. Instead of hurting my back trying, I had the strong young man working at the pickup location lift it for me; even he struggled with it. It is completely impractical to not have a tongue jack on a trailer this heavy.

The check in process took a long time because of issues with the UHaul website. The truck was in good working order but the loading compartment had not been cleaned. All in all though, the experience was very good and convenient.

There was an issue finding my order in the data base. Once it was found with the confirmation code the person was unable to access the reservation. I was asked to enter all my information again. As much concern about COVID and inputting my information in advance it was not an efficient system.

I originally signed up to pick up trailer on west side of Madison and was rerouted to McFarland. While the service and accommodations for pick up and drop off were both excellent I was not provided explanation from uhaul why the pick up location changed. Other than that everything went smooth

Told by Uhaul, store open at 7 didn't open till 8. Lock on truck no one knew combination. Was suppose to pick up truck at Verona Rd. had to go to McFarland.

I was disappointed with the reservation process, which was not part of this survey. I selected my equipment and location based on the directions I was traveling. The Friday before my travel Sunday I was called by Uhaul and asked where I wanted tp pick up the trailer and offered a different location than requested. I assumed due to no equipment. The new pick up location wasn't significantly out of my way, but my planned location was in my travel path. When I left with my full trailer, my route went by my requested location, and there appeared to be several trailers that met my request. Why couldn't i get it there? Also, my request was for one day. Every communication about my rental asked about me having rented for two. Overall a seemingly poor quality reservation system.

I was lied to about price. When I was given a quote over the phone, the cost was between 400-500 dollars. Yet when I was given the quote in store, it was 717 dollars. I asked a representative at this location about this price before I signed the papers, and he said that I wouldn't be charge the full 717 dollars if I return the Uhaul the next day instead of the 3 days that he automatically gave me. I was lied to about the price and I am getting overcharged.
