Very unsatisfied. I booked a 17 'truck on October 23rd (at location Beaudoin) for my move on November 11th. On the 10th of November I called to confirm that everything was ok to finally learn that the employee had made a mistake and had not booked the right truck (econoline). I was neglected to travel 15 km to pick up the truck (at Groupe Canal plus Inc) and another 15 km to return the truck and I had to pay extra km. I am a very dissatisfied customer.

My biggest concern was that i filled up the gas tank as required (i added $5) as i did not drive much and i was charged over $50 between additional gas and the gas filling fee. I called the office to resolve this issue and no one has called me back. It seems clear to me that gas is an extra fee that Uhaul adds automatically on the bill to increase the overall costs. i think that is dishonest and as such i could never recommend your services to anyone else.

Te only issue is that the truck was terribly dirty inside and outside. I had to personnaly wash the windshield before leaving. The inside was quite dirty and smelly.

Fix the credit card issues for U.S. customers. I was unable to use one of my U.S. credit cards from this location, so I had to come back 7 days later with another card. I know it is a problem with the U-Haul billing system because my bank did not even receive a transaction.

The office is quite small, and the entrance was hidden behind a car. It took as a long time to find it. My suggestion is to put a bigger U-Haul office sign.

Great customer service. Car was ready when I arrived the gentleman at the desk helped me with the online check-in. Only problem was the return when the office was closed I could not fund out how to do the self checkout with my mobile, even after spending 30 minutes on the phone with a customer service representative from U-haul. I just decided to drop off the keys and hope there would be no bad surprises. Luckily there weren't any.

This location has one excellent employee ( a younger man) and one terrible employee (older, heavier man). This older man has previously made comments about knowing where I live (while looking at my driver's license - which as a woman who lives nearby this made me very uncomfortable. I found this completely inappropriate. For this recent reservation I unfortunately had to deal with the older man. He called to say the truck would not be ready at the reserved time, BUT blamed me because I had made the reservation online. When I tried to point out that the client can't possibly know this and that ultimately the fault lies with UHaul, he spoke aggressively to me and hung up on me. I called back to clarify my complaint and he hung up on me again. I was so upset by this and other previous intereactions with this employee, I asked my 20 year old daughter to come with me and "deal" with him. To my relief and surprise he did the whole transaction with her - INCLUDING HAVING HER SIGN THE CONTRACT!. The Driver's license and credit card are in MY name and she does not even have a license. (The contract was therefore not legal). Finally, today he called to say the truck was late being returned (it had been returned the night before) but he was too lazy to check his own lot/key return box. He also NEVER goes to the lot to inspect the equipment with the client. I have sent a complaint to UHaul, who appoligized but said they have no control as this is a franchize and recommended I use a different location. As I can't predict when the good employee will be there, I will have to take their advice and go to another location, despite the added distance costing me extra in mileage. To summarize, if the owner of this franchise is reading this, please get rid of this employee!

Calibration de l'outil estimateur de l'essence à remplacer avant le retour est pas au point. Un calcul rapide de la consommation en fonction du kilométrage parcouru donne à peu près le même résultat que l'estimateur, mais ne concorde pas avec la gauge dans le véhicule.

Nous avions indiqué lors de la reservation que nous avions besoin de chariot sur roulettes pour le demenagement. Le franchisé n'en n'avait plus et , meme si nous lui avons expliqué que c'etait important pour nous d'en avoir, il nous a dit tout bêtement que lorsque l'on demenage, il faut se oreaprer d'avance!!!!( ce que nous avons fait en le demandant). Je lui ai demandé s'il pouvait faire des recherches pour nous chez d'autres franchisés ,nous sommes de la rive sud de Montréal, et aucun effort a ete mis de l'avant de la part de la personne qui nous a servis. Nous avons donc fait des recherches,et un franchisé a Laprairie( Lou Mec), a ete d'une serviabilité très appréciée, a telephoné chez Uhaul et nous a donné deux planches sur roulettes sans frais que nous avons laissés dans le camion lors de sa remise! Voila! Grace au bon service du franchisé de Laprairie, nous reprendrons Uhaul une prochaine fois mais sans jamais refaire affaire à Montreal!

Nous avions réservé des couvertures pour notre déménagement et il n'y en avait pas à notre arrivée. Très déçue et cela nous a causé des problèmes et nos meubles n'étaient pas emballés correctement.

There are two things related to my reservation that I need to observe : (1) I bought a mattress bag but the sales person said me that credit card machine was down, as a result, I paid in cash. Considering that I did not use this mattress bag, I wanted to return it. They did not accept it because according to them, cash sales are final sales. (2) When I reserved the truck, I also reserved a furniture dolly. On the moving day, there were no dollys available. So, what is the point of reserving it them ? This was a bad surprise, because we had to carry many heavy things, which was unpleasant and delayed the process.
