The wiper blades where broken and there was no windshield washer. I wanted to pick up the truck with the self service system. A got asked in a chat window to provide the names and numbers of 2 people, which I did. It was never said that I had to do this, and that these persons would be given a call. I lost one hour seating in my car trying to call people myself to tell them that some uHaul rep (in Arizona?!) would call them to check my identity. The rep said that she could not finish the check in because the persons did not pickup the phone so she told me to call 800-361-6511. I call this number and the lady on the phone had no idea how the selfservice worked and wasn’t aware that they would ask for phone number, so she transfered me to another control center, where the man had no idea either how to service work and could not help me. All in all, I lost 1 hour with this, got late, bothered 3 people who needed to pickup the phone because the rep in Arizona wanted to check my identity, made the persone who was moving stuff with me wait. To top it all, when I dropped the truck back, the selfservice option to return the truck was not available, so again I had to call to call the afore mentionned number, where again the man on the phone did not know how the system worked. All in all this self service system is far from efficient and I lost a precious time trying to figure things out by myself because uHaul reps could not do anything to help.

Check wiper fluid and oil. Oil change light was on and I had no wiper fluid which I desperately needed.

La location sur l'internet indique qu'il est possible de ne pas prendre d'assurance, alors qu'au comptoir on nous annonce que l'assurance est obligatoire, donc on m'a chargé 18$. L'essence était indiquée à 1/4, et était en fait juste en-dessous, mais comme l'aiguille est tellement peu précise de toute façon, je pensais que ce n'était pas grave. J'ai remis de l'essence exactement au même endroit, et on m'a chargé 30$ de pénalité. Sur la facture, il est indiqué que le camion a été retourné avec l'essence à mi-chemin entre 1/8 et 1/4, alors que je l'ai ramené exactement comme c'était juste en-dessous du 1/4 et on m'a chargé 9$ d'essence supplémentaire. La facture indique 37 Km, mais j'ai retracé mon trajet exact et il était entre 19 et 20 Km. Je suis seulement allé jusqu'à la rue Lacroix, puis au métro Lasalle, c'est impossible que j'aie roulé 37 km. Total, 115$ pour une location d'un pickup pendant 1h30. EXTÊMEMENT insatisfait. C'est la première et denière fois que je fais affaire avec u-Haul.

Personnelle pas très sympathique et non serviable... Monsieur ne donnais aucune information lors de la location j'ai du demander moi-même quel montant en prenais sur ma carte de crédit, il faisais très froid cette journée là et j'ai du aller a deux reprise a l'intérieur pour demandé au préposer de venir ouvrir la porte du camion arrière qui était gelé, j'avais l'impression de déranger Monsieur.

First I needed a 9’ cube van which is not the same as a 10’ light truck. It cost me 150$ to use docking bay at condo building vs cube van which can fit in garage which is what I booked. Second the amount of ice that was on the top of the truck was extremely dangerous for other drivers around me I would think this is negligent and irresponsible. I plan to post warnings on social media about the poor experience and poor safety standards

The truck had Arizona licence plates and did not appear to have snow tires installed. The truck constantly fish tailed and was difficult to drive.

It is winter. The windshield wipers were not appropriate for the seasonal road conditions of snow and salt. Please ensure that the windshield wipers are in good condition and are for the winter. Also, the truck does not seem to have winter tires. I was struck twice at the side of a plowed road. Posi-traction only allowing one rear wheel to turn/spin on the snow. L'établissement était ok, mais le service de uHaul était terrible. Nous nous sommes fait charger des journées additionelles de location même si nous avions appelé pour confirmer l'extension de notre période de location sans frais. Apres avoir appelé le service à la clientèle, ils nous ont dit qu'ils enleveraient des frais, mais par la suite ils nous en refacturent d'autres. Ensuite on nous informe qu'un représentant va nous contacter dans les 48hr et jamais personne ne nous rappel. Autrement dit, la location était ok, mais le service à la clientèle affreux

The mobile vehicle pick-up system works well and is pretty nifty, but kinda hard to use on an open parking lot at -26C. If weather is inclement, it's best to go into the office and do the pick-up with the clerk's help.

I've always used U-Haul for all my moving needs. Sometimes however, it's hard due to the varying prices and different owners. I've rented from 5 or 6 U-Haul places in Montreal and this location is the fastest, most affordable, cleanest, and has the best customer service. Thank you, from your valued customer.

Very unsatisfied. I booked a 17 'truck on October 23rd (at location Beaudoin) for my move on November 11th. On the 10th of November I called to confirm that everything was ok to finally learn that the employee had made a mistake and had not booked the right truck (econoline). I was neglected to travel 15 km to pick up the truck (at Groupe Canal plus Inc) and another 15 km to return the truck and I had to pay extra km. I am a very dissatisfied customer.

My biggest concern was that i filled up the gas tank as required (i added $5) as i did not drive much and i was charged over $50 between additional gas and the gas filling fee. I called the office to resolve this issue and no one has called me back. It seems clear to me that gas is an extra fee that Uhaul adds automatically on the bill to increase the overall costs. i think that is dishonest and as such i could never recommend your services to anyone else.

Te only issue is that the truck was terribly dirty inside and outside. I had to personnaly wash the windshield before leaving. The inside was quite dirty and smelly.

Fix the credit card issues for U.S. customers. I was unable to use one of my U.S. credit cards from this location, so I had to come back 7 days later with another card. I know it is a problem with the U-Haul billing system because my bank did not even receive a transaction.

Great customer service. Car was ready when I arrived the gentleman at the desk helped me with the online check-in. Only problem was the return when the office was closed I could not fund out how to do the self checkout with my mobile, even after spending 30 minutes on the phone with a customer service representative from U-haul. I just decided to drop off the keys and hope there would be no bad surprises. Luckily there weren't any.
