The guy at the desk was terrible and charged me for extra things. I have to call in the morning. The uhaul it’s self was ok but something was going bad on the truck that made it smell like sulfur and smoke. Absolutley will not go back to that location

I had to go up there because of a mistake in my reservation. The Castleton location did not have the equipment I needed. You’re on line reservation system is the most difficult I’ve ever used. It’s bad enough that I will never use it again. it Arbitrarily removed things from my reservation leaving me spending time trying to get everything together because one location didn’t have all the equipment in one spot. Very inconvenient and wasted my morning when I should’ve been working on moving.

We reserved a pick up truck and trailer. When we arrived we were informed that they did not have a hitch/insert to connect the truck and trailer. WHAT??? This is unacceptable. We called 5 other locations in the area and there were no trucks available at these locations. Luckily we had a hitch/insert from a previous truck that we owned. But what would they have done if we did NOT have this? We had to drive the 15 mins home and then 15 mins BACK to U-haul to pick up our insert. I was super irritated and will probably not rent from U-haul again or recommend this company to anyone.

I would definitely come back to this location to rent. However, I did have a problem with the trailer. I have contacted U-Haul directly regarding this issue, that the trailer leaked and our contents was all wet when we arrived to unload. Not happy about this issue. No permanent damage, but just making it a little more difficult to move with wet boxes.

It was my first time visiting this uhaul location and i have to say i was not disappointed one bit. There was a couple other people in line before me for uhaul rentals and the friendly staff helped get them taken care of fairly quickly and me too. Overall great experience!! Forgot to mention truck was full of gas, clean, warmed up and ready to go for me.

I was surprised that there was no type of sign off that I had returned the equipment. (trailer) I had a friend with me who witnessed the return but had I done this alone I would have INSISTED that the person sign off that I had returned the trailer. I was unimpressed!

You're organization is not as good as it used to be. We originally rented a truck from another location but they cancelled our reservation a bit before we were to pick up our truck. That is bad business in my opinion.

The website is very cumbersome. I reserved a 15' truck and entered the time and date. I called to confirm the truck was reserved and told that it wasn't available for the time I reserved. Fortunately, they had a 17' that was available. Other times I have reserved trucks at an office near my home only to be contacted by U-Haul the day before the rental and told the truck is only available 20 miles out of my way (i.e. price increase of $40 for mileage + gas). I realize Uhaul may have customers that decide to keep a vehicle an extra day, but can you at least keep your inventory and availability for reservations accurate?

Marrked 'Average' because this was the only place where I ever went for U-haul, so I cannot compare. But the service was good and quick despite the fact that I went in during the so-called rush hour. I rented a cargo van and the furniture pads. They were both clean. Would I go to this location again if I need U-haul? Yes with no hesitation.
