When I make a 930 am appointment, I expect the truck to be ready at 930 am. The gal at the office gave the cab a once-over and it had a dog bone, leftover mask, and dog hair all over it. She was a sweetheart and cleaned it up for me but I didn't like the delay.

Nothing went wrong for us. It was our first time using them. We'll more than likely be using them for a long distance move out of the state here in a couple months We'll be needing a larger truck like the 24' or 2'6' whatever you have. I rented the truck on 11/23/19 at 3:01 pm. I stated that I needed about 25 hrs. The rep state that they are closed Sun and do not have a key drop off. He told me to call when I'm done and he would have somebody to meet me and to check me in and they will reimburse me the difference since they charged me for 2 days. I was done on 11/24 at 5:15 pm. I was at the place of rental and made a call and was told to come back at 9:00 pm and they would be a guy there. I was there at 9 pm and nobody was there and the rep told me to put the keys next to the storage shed. The major problem was I had to make a return trip of over 30 mileage and got charge for the extra milages it took so I could meet up with the guy. The Rep was actually quite good and had good customer service and he was frustrated also. I was told today that they were new to U-Haul and not yet setup for after hour returns. I understand and now fault on their part. I can forgive the extra time it took me for the return trip but I don't think I should have to pay for the extra 30 miles to drive back there to meet someone when I was there 4 hrs before
Vehicle was clean enough, but lots of cigarette butts in the ashtray which I cleaned out cause it smelled.

I had asked for a 10:00am pick up but was told I could not pick up until 12:00 because the employee did not start their shift until 11:30. We were there at 12:00 and we did not leave until after 1:00. I used the online service to check in beforehand but that did not make a difference. When I spoke with Sara, from Bill's Towing, she tried to get me to pick my truck up on Friday because there was no properly trained employee scheduled for Saturday. When I told her no, I could not do that, she said they would need to call someone in who would be able to help us. Her word choice and tone made me feel guilty as though I was messing up their weekend schedule. The employee there had NO idea what he was doing. I never got a hard copy of the rental agreement because he ran out of ink. He also wrote the milage down incorrectly therefore complicating the drop off process. Overall it was a terrible experience picking up the u-haul and it delayed my moving plans by almost 4 hours. Very frustrating.
