The owner was sitting in her car for >20 minutes after “opening” time so I was stuck waiting to get my Uhual. The gas and mileage were incorrect and she did not change it in the computer system instead wrote on the reciept she gave us the correct information. The outside of the truck was covered in stickers from previous damages. The brakes needed some maintenance.

Hands to hands is literally a junk yard/wasteland. The fenced area where they claimed my rental was was not only unsafe but extremely unsanitary. My 5 yr old asked if we were at a junk yard. My rental ended up not being there and the lady made me sign for it at that location and drive to another city to pick up the product. This is the second time it's happened to me with this location. I'm not at all happy and certainly, without a doubt, will never come back there again for anything. Having to drive across town was not only an inconvenience but hauling that massive trailer costs more in gas and mileage on my truck. I'm not a happy customer.

The worst customer service ever. Attendant tried to charge me money for a black dirt mark on outside of vehicle as if it was a scratch. They make a big fuss to intimidate customers with this. They don't give you the form or tour around vehicle to check on scratches or anything when cheking out the vehicle and then try to charge you for things they claim are stcratches but in reality are just dirt. I went and washed the dirt mark and it dissapeared.I proved these people they are dishonest and untruthful. In the hypothetical casr that there was a scrath I paid these scammers for vehicle protection coverage fee and still they still wanted to charge me for the dirt. Insane. I will never rent from this place again. Customers: Run as fast as you can. Avoid this place in Beryl Road/ corner with method Road in Raleigh, NC. Go somewhere else, it will be a lot better.

BEWARE!! THIS PLACE IS TRASH! The employees are extremely rude! I waited 50 minutes past my pick up time until the rude manager showed up as the other employees sat around because they couldn’t check me in apparently. I was told a quarter tank in the truck/ and I jump in and half a mile down the road I see it has 6 miles till empty! I call the manager back and she says it isn’t her problem and that I should have brought it back sooner!! Charged me $93 just to drive 20 miles! On top of this mess, there is a broken crack pipe (took pics) and an empty bud light bottle under the seat rolling around! Needless to say, I have contacted customer service and awaiting for my refund. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DUMP! UHAUL- you ought to be ashamed to allow this place to stay open. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! The other review by “EMILY” below is the girl that was booking with me at the same time. We both had a miserable experience. STAY AWAY!

The truck itself was fine... but the employees at the location were extremely rude, specifically what seemed to be the owner. She wasn’t even there when I arrived for my reservation time and the other employees had to call and set it up over the phone with the manager as she is the only person who knows how. When I dropped off the truck she was extremely rude to me and her workers. She had accused me of not filling the tank back to original gas level though I had put more than enough. The place smells awful, is a disaster, and it just is not somewhere I would rent a truck from again.

This location should be closed down. When I picked the vehicle up they could not find the reservation. Even after I showing the worker my copy of the reservation she did not know how to access the information. After several attempts she was able to access the information. She did not know how to process the reservation. She had to call someone else to process the reservation. She gave me the phone to speak to the person who she called to process the reservation. I was very reluctant because I had no idea as to who that was on the other end of the phone. The women on the other end of the phone wanted me to give her my credit card information. I was extremely sat back by this. I asked the worker in the store where I was why do I have to give someone on the phone my credit card information. She said she did not know how to process the reservation. I told them both the one on the phone and the one in the store that I will never come back to this store ever again I will go to Durham before I come here again. I gave the lady on the phone my credit card information. The lady in the store was wanting me to leave without having any paperwork for the vehicle. I asked where was my paperwork and she said it will be sent to me via email. I told her(the lady in the store) that I wanted some paperwork to walk with. She finally had the lady on the phone to send the paperwork to the printer at the store. I received a she with some information on it and some of the information was incorrect. The paperwork showed the vehicle had a full tank but the vehicle showed 3/4 of a tank. The millage on the paper showed the miles to be 1526. The truck in question showed the miles to be 1642. I showed them how dirty the vehicle was outside and inside. The inside had a strong odor of someone had been smoking. The ash tray was a sure sign that someone had been smoking in the truck. I had one of the workers to look the vehicle over with me and he saw what I saw. He noted on my copy of my paperwork the correct millage and the gas level as well as how dirty the vehicle was. I told the lady in the store what I had done and she went out to take pictures of the inside of the vehicle. I left the store thinking I will have a problem when I go to turn the vehicle in. I was turning the vehicle in today and it was a much older women there. She processed the vehicle in. I did not say anything about the problem I had when I was getting the vehicle because I wanted to see if the information was noted from when I checked the vehicle out. Sure enough it was not. She wanted to charge me because the vehicle only had 3/4 tank of gas when it was noted on the paper it was suppose to have a full tank, which was incorrect. She wanted to charge me for 250 miles of use as appose to the 134 mile that were the actual use. She made reference to how dirty the vehicle was. Now I am having to go over the entire episode with her She finally processed the paperwork correctly

The pick up location was good. but the lock was not on the gate properly to pick up the truck. Luckily the workers at the location were still there and were able to help with the gate and the lock. They didnt really understand my online check in and they wanted to go home so they got the key for me. Maybe educate the workers on the online check in process and I wasnt just on my phone and taking selfies for nothing!

UHauls on line rental application / process is flawed. I registered on line, created an account and reserved the vehicle. Then I had to do it all over again at the rental location. It took 30 minutes and was the opposite of convenient. The place was dirty, it was 90+degrees out and I was forced to stand in the hot sun if the parking lot, using my own data plan to upload pictures of the truck, my drivers license etc.
