Inside of the truck had not been wiped down. I used my own disinfecting wipes and all the touch surfaces were extremely dirty. During a pandemic when COVID is known to be transmitted on surfaces a vehicle's high touch surfaces should be cleaned between rentals or the vehicle should come with wipes for renters to use. Fortunately I had my own on me to clean the truck when I picked it up. The inside windows were also dirty and required cleaning for better visibility.

What a dumpster fire that was. Truck had just come back. Still had furniture in it from prior user. Inside was filthy. The employee tried to clean it all up quickly but obviously could not be throrough. My pickup locations conflicted between email and chat...had to call 3 times to straighten it out. Clerical error caused issues later after drop off.

Really wish we had a uhaul with cruise control. Driving 1400 miles on mostly flat, straight roads without cruise control was really crappy.

The first location we were assigned to did not have the equipment we had reserved (10' truck and large flat screen TV box kit). We were able to find a second location that had the truck, but the flat screen tv box did not have any foam inside although it was listed on the description. Having to go to a second location forced us to pay for another hour for our moving help because it took so much longer to check in, then find out our equipment was not there, then going to another place to pick up.


We didn't interact with staff in person, but on the phone they were very helpful. :)

The only reason I am giving one star is because of my pleasant experience during pick up and dropping off and the helpfulness of the associates otherwise I would give it zero stars. U-haul is a joke. I booked a truck 3 weeks before my rent day. The next day I got a call and told me that I will have to pick it up from this place and it will be guaranteed to be there. Then, 12 hours before the rental time, I got a call telling me that it will not be available at that time and I will have to pick it up 2 hours later. When I protested, rather than being sympathetic, she rudely said that she is trying to be helpful and yet she did not present me with any other alternatives. She gave me the contact number of the area manager who tried to find me another location but it didn't work. The worst part is my rental was eligible for a $50 guarantee but that is a joke. I never got any compensation for the inconvenience that it caused me. Not just this location, I would be staying away from U-haul altogether if possible.

I booked a U-Haul van to pick up after hours at 8:00 pm at a location near my home. A few hours later I got a spammy-looking text that said to call a number to confirm my reservation. I called the number. After about 25 rings, someone finally picked up. She very rudely told me that my pick up location had been changed to a place quite far from my home. When I arrived at the scheduled pick up time, the vehicle was nowhere to be found. Ultimately I located it around the side of the building, though there was no indication that vehicles are also parked on the side of the building. There had been substantial rain that evening, as is often the case in Seattle, yet the windows were left half down. The seats were soaked. I had booked a van, a dolly, and several blankets. The dolly and blankets were supposed to be in the back of the van; they were not. I tried calling the number that the app said to call if there were any problems. It just rang dead. I tried calling U-Haul's main number. That rang dead too. I tried calling the number for the U-Haul store. No one answered. Eventually I sat down on the soaking wet seat and drove away. Once I got to the place where I'd be loading the furniture, I had some light and could get a better view of the van. It had substantial dents, scratches, and missing paint. Needless to say, I was not impressed with my U-Haul experience.

I've had three U-Haul places in Seattle make my experience very terrible. This U-Haul place was so seamless I was bracing for impact, I even got refunded for putting gas in the tank! Best U-Haul experience I've ever had.

The equipment was older and it had obviously been used hard by prior customers. However the rental agent knew I was only going approximately 20 miles used good judgment in resource allocation and dispatch. I have used this location many times and always had a very positive experience.

Call ahead to confirm when you will be there. The time you need to pick up "before" becomes the time that the office expects you to come get your rental.

Super friendly service! The woman who assisted me at check in was quick and efficient. She made sure I understood what each charge would look like. I was a little disappointed to see the side mirror being held on my tape on the truck. Alas I chose not to pay the insurance so giving me the beat up truck seemed reasonable. Thanks again, will definitely recommend and be back!

I was given a truck that wasn't properly inspected by the location worker. When i received the truck it was at 3/4 of tank full and i returned it at said tank amount. I was charged for full that i didn't use. First time I had ever dealt with such terrible customer services using U-haul. I don't blame U-Haul i blame the location i used.
