This location provided good service and had everything ready to go, even though we arrived early. A bit slow at the computer, but everything went smoothly. He was friendly and helpful in providing the information we needed. Glad that uhaul could find me a truck!

Firstly we checked in online to ensure we had no wait when picking up our rental. We NEVER received a call to confirm the pick up from the location we were set to get the uhaul from. If it wasn't for me calling courteously on our way, Don would have never even known we needed the rental. We arrived and the office was a disaster. It took over 40 minutes for him to get the rental in order. We paid for a 2 day rental for the trailer, and when bringing it back early he accused us of needing to have it back only after one day. Don't bother renting if it's from Don's Auto. Completely unsatisfied and the wrongful accusation was more then embarrassing.

Uhaul trailer was covered in snowbank and ice so I couldn't inspect it uhaul person did not knkevhiw to hook the trailer up to the car properly We checked in on line and it still took him 45 minutes to give us the trailer. said online didn't put the tax on the order. what's the sense of pre checking in then?

I was charged for 2 days and I spoke to the location, the Uhal 1800 number and was told that I would get an extension for 24h due to an extreme ice storm making it unsafe to be driving. I also am very disappointed in how little traction the uhal had. I was stuck about 10-15 times needing assistance every time from people around me or calling road side assistance. The one time I needed road side assistance I called and stayed on the like for about 40 min and was then told I was not covered by the vehicle insurance because I was in a parking lot that was too far way from the road making it a user error for parking in a parking lot. Overall I will never be renting a uhal again and will never recommend it to anyone. I will discourage people from using this horrid service.

I would never use U-Haul in Thunder Bay again. This was a terrible customer experience. First off they called to tell me that the original vehicle I had rented was in an accident, and that I needed to change my vehicle choice but there was only one vehicle available. So after agreeing on the new vehicle, I get a call at 6:30pm the night before I was to pick up my vehicle at 8:30 am the next day to tell me there isn't any available vehicles in Thunder Bay. The vehicle I had been told I could have was no longer available and there was nothing I can do about it. They eventually agreed to call around to find one and then I was told there was one I could have at 1pm that day instead of 8:30am and that point I was desperate for anything. This day arrives and I got a call saying the vehicle I was to get hadn't arrived and there wasn't anything I could do and that it wasn't going to be there for 1 pm. I told them to call me when the vehicle arrived to Thunder Bay. By the time it was 3pm I called them back and asked about the truck, they acted as if they had no idea what I was talking about. After 5 minutes of talking to them telling them that they called us earlier, they finally clued in to who I was and said the truck had been there since 12:30pm. At this point I was so annoyed and was in desperate need of the truck we went to pick it up. This was my first experience with U-Haul and I am not sure I will be using their services again.

The office was closed when I arrived at the location. I returned several times costing me time and expense to ensure all was in order and at no time in four days was the office open. I had left the trailer in the only open spot and have not heard from U-Haul or the office. If you are going run a service then someone should be in the office during office hours.

Worst experience ever. Guy swore multiple times and told me I can leave because he didn't want to rent locally. Trailer smelled like piss.

The reservation was confirmed for pick up at 900. I did not receive this truck until 1200. The truck had summer tires on it, and therefore was very difficult to utilize on winter roads. I was bullied into taking insurance that I didn't want to purchase. There was no one present at the drop off locatio , when I was assured someone would be there from 1500-2200.

service person poor knowledge of computer - couldn't print contract - sent to me by email but now it is unsigned - took over half an hour to pick up because of service person's poor knowledge of computer.

The trailers are great but the service was lacking. I already entered all of my info online ahead of time to check in faster but the guy that was working didn't know how to use the computer and it took over half an hour anyway
