All fee should be included in initial application. I ended up paying almost $60 on a space you said I need $25 to move in. It is deceptive because if insurance is the LAW it should be an up front included cost.

I rate the locations as excellent but I rate uhaul as the company and their website/logistics department as absolute worst. If your going to pick my "pick up" and "drop off" locations for me, then DONT ASK ME where I want to "pick up" and "drop off"!! Just get my zip code and then tell me. Or as for better customer service, have someone drive the truck I want to the location I want before I pick it up!! You changed both my pick up and drop off locations which means me picking was a total waste of time (whether it's seconds or not). This is a dumb way for you to annoy your customers cuz then it's up the pick up location to call the customer to confirm the changed location. Sometimes that doesn't happen and then people are wondering wtf is going on!

I rented my van online on a Friday at10:40am for a 12pm rental. We got to the location and no on was there and the office was closed. We called the uhaul office and they assured us someone was on the way. When we got there the paperwork that is guaranteed to be ready if you check in online wasn't ready and after making me late for work, Rachel Rodriguez decided to answer a customer phone call and have me wait even longer. We didn't get our van unil 1:30p.m. When we made the rental reservation online we reserved to pick up in south austin and return in north austin. We were then told we couldn't do that. We would have to return back at the same location because the online website wasn't updated and it shouldn't have let us reserve that way. I called and spoke to Kim who assured me we would be credited $50 because online guarantees your van will be ready when You reserve it. She also said I would need to return it to the south location but we wouldn't be charged the mileage for that trip since it wasn't our fault, as the customer, that the website allowed us to reserve it that way. So ultimately I'd have been out maybe $20. Well, uhaul then charged my card $99 then charged it again creating an overdraft charge, then credited only the $50 but still charged the mileage for two ways. I called Kim again who assured me she fixed it and that's been 4 days. Since then I called many people including customer service at corporate who informed me they aren't able to help, a manager named Romelle refused to take my call at corporate and I'm backndealing with the regional office. This has been a nightmare when it should have been an easy fix. Not to mention I have copies of all the calls and how very rude their employees are.
The only problem we had was that the attendant had not tightened the ball on the attachment to the trailer. We checked it after loading the car and realized it had not been tightened. We drove it about 15 miles to pick up the car and luckily, the chains were attached. We didn't have an incident, but it would have been dangerous to drive to Houston without this being tightened.

I originally had booked at a different location, my truck rental reservation was transfered but my moving supplies was not, meaning I had to visit two locations before I could even start moving
The manager is very nice although the truck was late than pick up time. She made sure I was well informed and satisfied with the service I received. Good job.

The young man who checked me in left a lock on my rental unit,after hours, causing me to have to wait an hour for a manager to come and open it, which means that I had to pay two movers more than I budgeted for. He also told me that he had a better location for me so we wouldn't have so many turns with our furniture, NEVER told me that this unit was smaller. I was totally unaware of a 19.00 admin fee... Was not mentioned the day before when I went to set everything up. I made arrangements in person to avoid these things. Awful!
First of all, I reserved a dolly to go with my truck and it was "unavailable" which made my move extremely hard. When I decided to go with the ground dolly I was still charged. The gentleman at the counter said he spoke with my storage provider and that I did not qualify for a Free Month as advertised. When I called, I found out he had cancelled my reservation and replaced it under my boyfriends name and created a new "in town" reservation which meant I HAD to return it to that location. Not pleased with the process.
The truck needed to be swept out. There was paper, nails/screws and potting soil/dirt on the floor. The attendant told us that when we were finished with the truck to return the truck we should return it to the Eastex freeway location in Beaumont. We went there to return the truck and the attendant at that location told us he could not accept the return--we would have to take it to the Milam location.
Ensure that trucks are swept out prior to rental.
was given 2 different times for office closing (holiday pick-up)
After having another uhaul rep not be able to fill my reservation uhaul found me another truck in a very close area where they were very professional and got me the truck I had reserved very quickly.
Showed up at time that the location was supposed to be open, but not open, so had to call uhaul to see what to do and they only said to leave in drop box even though location was supposed to be open. Hard to enter location with truck and find place to park truck. Personnel was helpful when he finally arrived 30 minutes after the posted time the place was supposed to open.

Open earlier in the morning. To me opening this kind of business at 9:00 am, is a little late.
The ease and speed of reserving the truck and picking it was impressive. I also purchased mattress covers which come in useful for keeping the mattresses clean during transport.
The rental agent was extremely helpful and military friendly. Uhaul needs more agents like him. Thank you so much!
Great customer service. Just wish it was easier to find 26' trucks closer to home. Happy with service otherwise and would recommend.

A little hard to get to for someone one from out of town, It did me meet my needs for location and the staff was very helpful
The tail light connector on the truck for the trailer OOO the agent does not know how to fix it. He want me to unload the truck and change. I finally call Road side service and take it to your dealer on 304 Ben White. Wasted 6 hours of my driving time
This was not the location I had requested with my reservation. Although it was not that difficult to find, it was an inconvenience with my schedule!

I really wanted a van, but there were not enough to go around. The 10 x 10 truck was clean, but was beat up, from customer use. The shocks were worn and made for a bone jarring ride. Overall, everything was ok. TY
First I was not told my location had changed. They did call me from the location i was to pick up the truck but they never mentioned it was a different location.
