We had 3 bookings over 10 days canceled on us; not sure what the point of spending 45 minutes booking a truck, then getting a call from "Corporate" the day before your booking to say sorry, not available, but you can drive 2 hrs away and pick one up there.OLIVER T.

I totally understand that due to the environment we live in, the mountains, and dust is hard to maintain the vehicles clean. But it is important to maintain the windshield clean at least. it was hard to have clear vision at night. I tried to clean the windshield at the gas station but I couldn't reach to clean it up completely. This is the only observation I wish the company put more attention to. I have no problem with Friendly self storage, Uhaul however, changed my pickup location twice, the 2nd time to a place 50 miles in the opposite direction of my move. It is extremely difficult to get a solid answer over the phone of why this happened but it almost screwed my move. I will never use uhaul again.Brendan C.

Truck was fine and probably well maintained. The truck was not clean at all. Windshield took over 10 minutes to remove the bugs. Interior of truck and interior of box were both very dirty. Biggest problem was no moving blankets as requested with the rental. Forced to buy over $120 in blankets to make the move. The office staff were apologetic and very nice and helpful.David E.

Check the fuel efficiency on your vehicles, or maybe address the pettiness of your associates. I drove the truck a total of 15 miles, filled 2 gallons of gas at the nearby Costco before I returned it, and I was still charged an additional $11 for gas by Uhaul. Next time I won't put gas in it at all if I'm going to be charged twice.MATT K.

Truck was rented for a round trip to Denver. Truck broke down on the outskirts of Denver. Waited hrs for mechanical team. Could not repair truck, took driver to facility that had no units for rent. Finally brought unit to driver, unit was empty of fuel. What a companyjohn W.
This location is an absolute disgrace. I rented a one-way 20 foot U-Haul truck from gypsum to Denver. We were told day of that the truck we had would not be ready and our only other option would be a 15 foot. Clearly not enough room for us. The only other option we were given was to drive all the way to Junction which is 2 1/2 hours away. Or pick the 24 foot truck pay the extra and it would now be an Intown rental and would need to return to gypsum. They did not offer to compensate for the extra price and having to pick the bigger truck or the extra mileage or the extra day that we had to have the truck. NOTHING. Then when we got to Denver it was a snowstorm we were hung up by a manager on the one 800 number and treated with disrespect from the people over the phone at the physical location. We tried to see if there was anywhere in the Denver metro to leave the truck since we did not want to drive over the passes in a snowstorm I need to go back to work the next day. They offered us nothing so my fiancÃ© had to risk his life in a snowstorm to bring them back there truck. That we were told should've never of left gypsum. The reviews for this location speak for themselves and wish I read them before. My fiancÃ© and I have a big part in the community and have told everyone about her experience. I would never rent from this place or suggest anyone do the Same.Michael N.

The worst rental truck experience ever. 1. Gas tank not at 3/4 full. 2. Filthy windshield with no wash. 3. Upon return asked for total to be on card and clerks answer was it is being emailed to you now. He said he did not know. 4. When email received found I was overcharged. I never asked for insurance, but charged $14. My $19.95 rental plus .79 per mile (60 mi) turned into $92.11. 5. Called local office to dispute insurance charge and told I had to call 800 #. 6. Called 800# and was told the wait was 30-40 minutes. Uhaul is a total rip off. Be up front with your charges and work onâ€¦no create good customer service. I plan on telling everyone I know that UHaul is a RIP OFF. Beware and better yet avoid.RICHARD P.

Everything went very smoothly. The staff is great. This DIY move was so much less expensive than hiring a moving company. I think there needs to be more vehicles available. Just not enough vehicles. I had to take a 9' cargo van when what I really needed was a 15' truck. Had to make 3 trips to get everything moved to my new home, which took 3 days. With a 15' truck, it could have been accomplished in one day, maybe two tops.SHERRY B.

Honor your original reservation and make sure trucks are available. I had to rent it 3 days early in order to guarantee a truck due to no inventory in Colorado. I reserved it in may and received a cal on the Saturday before stating I may have to drive out of state to get my truck.
