The van was filthy. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months and it smelled awful. Formal complaint will be filed. For $226 for less than 24 hours, I expected more.Todd B.

The Neighborhood Dealer was under the impression that they were under no obligation to interact in-person with people renting the equipment. They seemed to be under the impression that automatic pickup was gaurenteed, despite the fact that when I checked in it directed me to speak to someone on the premises to get the key. I had to wait 30 minutes to get a customer service agent on the phone who then had to speak with the Neighborhood Dealer on speaker to convince him to give me the key. After I received the key things went relatively smoothly, but this whole process felt very flawed and I was disappointed by the lack of quality controls in place.Tobias O.

Check in was at 8, took 20mins to get verified. Why was this not done prior to picking up my rental. Lock box hardly works and need to wiggle to make it work. Spend time figuring out what was wrong.Nahid I.
The App did not work when I picked up the van and returned it. It had changed my booking to be hand pick up instead of online (according to the representative who called me), resulting in an Uber charge to go back to the location. Once this was fixed the online pickup worked. When returning, the app kept logging me off so I couldn't enter the mileage and fuel information. The person at the location tried to help me (he was very nice), and then got the support person on the phone (the same one as I spoke to in the morning). He manually 'returned' the van. Had the app worked I would have not had any issues with the rental.Erin C.

This whole experience with renting with Uhaul was atrocious. I will never recommend to anyone and will be sending an email to Head office. Between being on hold for 45 minutes, reservations changed, online check in a joke, no customer service when I call and then being transferred twice and being hung up on. A nightmare. Meanwhile losing valuable time in moving and my elevator hold at my new condo because of the delays. Absolutely appalling. Dominic at the end of it was helpful but getting there caused a lot of undue stress and anxiety. Never ever again. You lost a customer and many more with me.Eileen E.

The uhaul staff however were not great. The person I spoke to on the phone did not follow what I indicated in my reservation and charged me for coverage that I did not ask for. The process of verifying identity and so on wag also a pain as the system was apparently down at the time. I had to spend about 40 minutes on the phone with this regional manager.Rabeya S.

Family owned appliances shop on the Danforth. Helpful and friendly, although the UHaul system screwed him over by locking him out of his own system. The UHaul booking also sent me into the middle of Scarborough instead of my booking in downtown Toronto. Always book by phone! Never online.Julian L.
