This was the second location I was sent to after having a reservation since February 10. I recieved a TEXT message at 926 am saying my reservation had changed when I was supposed to be picking the truck up at 10 am on 62 commerce park drive. Someone from uhaul should definately contact the customer a text message is absolutely unacceptable when changing last minute. Secondly the location I was sent to pick up the uhaul did not even know I was coming. How embarrassed I felt that they were not even notified. Uhaul you really need to get your crap together . Paying customers deserve better. This is not the first time I have had issues with uhaul. Even though I was given a discounted rate the hassle of last minute changes via text message is super unacceptable. The stress of moving is enough and having to last minute change locations with not even a call sent me into a frenzy! Not impressed... Atleast the second location I was sent to they were super friendly and made me feel good.Nakita D.

The only reason I deducted marks was because the pick up location has very VERY limited internet access. Also, the truck(inside the cube, not where you sit to drive) was filthy. Drywall pieces and dirt everywhere.Kevin M.

make municipality put up a street name sign at corner of Pinegrove and Sunnidale on north east corner or advance sign to indicate Pinegrove ahead, as there is a curve and blind spot at the intersection when heading westbound. If you are travelling that way, its easy to miss the intersection, like I did and wasted my time looking for Pinegrove when travelling west bound on Sunnidale.Anna M.

It took 2.5 hours to get to the location and when I arrived the man's computer wasn't working so I had to wait a half hour. I had to hook up the trailer myself due to the man's bad back. I was directed to this location after my original order was not able to be fulfilled. This was only communicated to me 2 days before my pick up even though I placed the order a month before. This is extremely poor service for a company of you size. Your scheduling systems need improving. I could not change the date of my move as here were others involved and they took time off work and were losing out on pay. I couldn't believe the situation your company put me in.Nick D.
Ensure that the truck in the GTA area close to the location I booked when making the reservation. This location was so remote in the middle of nowhere. We had to drive 103 km just from Markham just to pick up the truck.Arifulla Q.

I was told and had confirmed with u haul a drop off in Angus. When I pulled up I saw no u haul trucks. I called u haul who then said that location had been closed for months. They wanted to send me to wasaga . I found and suggested this location as it was closer, but still an inconvenience as I already drove to an Angus location that no longer existed. Be aware that when you reserve with u haul, only the date seems to reserve, they may call and change the size of truck, pick up and drop off location, all one day before you move.David H.

I was there for an hour while they were trying to process my order. Very frustrating! It didn't appear to be the operators fault but rather a fault with the booking system. It kept trying to charge me for a truck rental which I had already paid for at a different location. The operator there was on the phone with head office, speaking with various people to try and solve the problem. At least one of them hung up on him. In the end I had to just leave. It did result in me returning the tow dolly late as so much time had been wasted. I will not be recommending uhaul to anyone. Nor will I be using them again.marc D.
I told the operator EXACTLY where I needed to go and informed him that the mileage would not be adequate. He insisted that I was wrong about the distance from Utopia to Orillia: then at the end of the contract I am charged for 40km extra. Very unsatisfied especially since online system indicated reservations were available closer to Orillia which did not match reality.Matthew P.

I got charged extra for fuel when I filled it to exactly where the gauge was upon pickupAlexis D.
The day of my trailer rental I was notified there wouldn't be one available until late in the evening. I was forced to take a truck instead and while the rental itself was discounted, the cost of the gas for the truck then had to added to the cost of the gas for the truck my friends brought down in order to tow the trailer. This rental therefore cost at least $100 more than it was supposed to. Despite contacting customer service, I received absolutely no compensation. I would NEVER use U-Haul again under any circumstances. I'd rather pay triple the price just to use a company that treats its customers they way they should be treated. By the way, this is the second time in a row they've done something like this.Jeff S.

This place is run by a bunch of thieving crooks. They tried to defraud me out of an extra $80 (phantom mileage and gas?). The truck was filthy and so was the inside of the location. Thankfully I took pictures of everything and the U-Haul regional manager was able to help me.ALEXANDRE B.
Not only was the location not open when I was told I could go pick up the truck but the milage was mischarged. The truck was not in good condition and the location was not the one I chose and was a great deal further than several other uhaul locations that would have been better.DAVID B.

I had reserved a dolly and furniture pads that were not there when I picked up the truck. There was also a check engine light on which the lady I called from uhaul had no idea what to do about so I had to drive over to another uhaul location to have checked and I had to then pay for the extra gas and milage. There was no one at the location when I arrived at the designated time. Someone had to be called which caused me to be late. The vehicle was extremely poorly maintained; aligned was off, brakes were poor. The mileage was like nothing I've ever seen--even on a truck--close to a staggering 2.5 km per litre...hard to believe. Will not rent from this location again. It cost me almost as much in gas as it did in the rental which was insane...one day with the truck was $424. Now, I did go quite far but, there should have been a cap on the mileage of some sort or an option of a straight fee. Overall it cost me $600.00 for one day rental...that is insane. I could have hired movers to do it for me for that cost...as it was I did all the driving and the moving. Very unhappy indeed.Heather M.
Upon showing up, the staff at Safi auto seemed to be unaware that we were coming to pick up a uhaul, then delayed us about 1.5 hours because they couldn't get the computer to work, and we had to fuel the uhaul (which was empty) as well as sweep and mop the back of it (full of dirt, and spilled unknown liquids, and garbage), and the cab (complete with old food (banana peels), toilet paper, and other refuse). The staff were not pleasant, and it was an awful experience. Had I not been there with two older men, I would have felt unsafe. I recommend you stop using this location as a uhaul supplier...it definitely negatively affects your reputation.Amanda F.
