Sheila was an absolute pleasure to work this past weekend. Unfortunately UHaul itself is turning into a nightmare overall. Our truck had been canceled but we were never notified. We showed up to get truck and there was no truck there. Sheila went out of her way to obtain a truck for us and gave us a nice discount due to our issues. I could not have been more pleased with the professionalism and grattitude she showed my wife and I. Would definitely recommentd working with this location again.Robert R.

Person was not there when I arrived. Had to wait. Wasn't lunch time. Told her I didn't need a dolly and was charged for one. I asked for furniture pad and she didn't put them in the truck. Returned later for the pads and she again wasn't there. Way pasted the note she put on the door for lunch. I was charged for a dolly and pads I didn't get. Poor customer service.lisa S.

I made the reservation and had a copy in hand. When I went by to pick up at the scheduled time, Sheila Geiger said she did not have a reservation for me even though she took it 2 days prior. About waiting about 45 mins with her saying she could not get into the system, she allowed me to take the truck. When I returned the truck she said she still couldn't get in to check me out. Couldn't put the charge on the credit card and that I needed to return the next day with $58.44 in cash...not a credit card??? When I arrived home U-Haul emailed me a receipt so I assume she was able to get it keyed. Today I received a voice message from her saying she needed me to bring her $58.44 in CASH or U-Haul will start charging me additional days. I called several times but could only get the answering machine. I left a message for her telling her I have a paid receipt and asking her to contact U-Haul to get resolved. I was also charged for insurance that I did not request. When she told me the total I question why it was higher than expected and she said because of the mileage (less than 15 miles). Once I received the receipt I saw I was not charged for the $7 cart so I was not going to worry about the other $7. The truck had not been cleaned out from the previous renter(s). Cigarette butts, empty water bottles up from. Trash on floor in back. Please contact her at 334-281-8436 to get resolved. Thanks.don M.
Had a reservation for a 20ft truck. When I got to the location to pick up the truck, I arrived at 3:55 pm to pick up the truck at the set time of 4pm. I wasnt allowed into the store u til 4:35 pm because there was another customer inside renting a storage unit. When I did get to go in and talk with the rental agent, the 20ft truck I reserved wasn't returned by the person who rented it before me. They wanted to send me to another location yo get another 20ft but I was already running late as I had people meeting me at my house to help load the truck and because I didn't get to go inside until after 435pm I didn't have time to drive across town to go retrieve another truck. I had a guarantee of 50 dollars for my reservation which no one has given me an actual idea of who I need to talk with about the 50 dollars. All the agent told me was that I'd get a code or something. Overall it wasn't great.Sam S.

When my son went to pick up the truck at 2:00 pm, the scheduled time and they had that the pickup time was 3. AND that he would have to take the 26' instead of the 20' truck which required a lot more gas to drive to south Florida. Plus my son is 23, has never driven anything like this, and I was terribly worried about driving the 20' so imagine when I saw the 26' he had to drive. They did fix the situation but I had a screenshot of the day, time and truck and they got one of the three right. Oh, they did throw in some moving blankets ??Hayden F.

they would not let us park our personal vehicle outside of the fence because we did not know when we would be finished, and when we got back they were gone to lunch.. posted 12:00-1:00, but they were not back until almost 2:00. We wait to wait well over an hour for them to return to get our vehicle out of the fenced area. Epic service FAILLarry G.

U-haul worker, name: Vicky was very rude and unprofessional with 2/1/2020 after doing business with U-haul and she was not reprimand for unprofessional behavior and using profanity at me. I reported it to her supervior, Mrs. Shelia. It was the U-Haul located behind Max Credit Union and Navy Federal Credit Union on Taylor Rd in Montgomery, Alabama. The office manager gave me a good deal when I told why I need a truck to go to Birmingham before I started. Our church has "bike ministry" for homeless. He offered to rent a truck for $88. But when he returned the truck, she charged $ 207.35, which was not the amount she had offered. I went back to the office today and I complained and gave me the corrected amount again. truck - $19.95, per miles charge - .59C. 228.3 mailes X .59C = 134.52 + 19.95 + tax 6.04 = $160.51 - $45.00 (charity for church) total is $115.57. she charged a new balance. please give me back the amount of the difference, $91.78 as soon as possible. Hopefully I never have this experience again. Today I called for customer service as well with the same. the number is 2520669. I will wait for your response. thank you.Ji N.

U-Haul sucks, got faulty truck, broke down, waited for an eternity (>8 hours on site location and a night) for tow truck! Costumer service is bad as well, asked me to call backâ€”really?
