My original reservation was in Moncks corner. I went to go pick it up and the van wasn't there. I had to drive to another location wait over 45 minutes to get the van. In turn I rented from much farther location than desired which caused me to pay for extra fuel and mileage. Not very happy with uhaul at this moment. Will seriously consider other options on my next business delivery.STEPHANIE L.

I am 45. I have moved 42 times in my life. I have used UHaul MANY times through the years, as a matter of fact, exclusively. This location had the absolute worse customer service and old worn out truck I have ever dealt with. First, the guys running the location are liars and cheaters. I signed a document that there was 3/4 of a tank of gas in the truck and if I did not return it with 3/4 of a tank they would charge me $4.00 a gallon (which followed with a long right wing political diatribe that had no place in customer service!) When I got in the truck it had 1/4 of a tank. The receipt I received this morning stated I only drove 36 miles. But it cost me $75 to get the tank to 3/4 of a tank. Second, the truck was old and falling apart. Inside the cab the felt on the roof was peeling off, the truck was not cleaned from previous users. I felt cheated, I felt used and taken advantage of. The mocking of Hispanic name as they competed in pronouncing it, the complete and utter unwelcoming atmosphere of the location made for an experience I would never want to go through again. I know this location does NOT represent UHaul, I have done enough business with your company to know this. I will continue to use UHaul, but I will never ever step foot in this lying cheating stealing location. Thank you. And Have a great day!Julio C.

The truck that I rented had a "Check Engine" Light on. The windows had been left open so there were insects in the cabin. Moreover, the app did not work when I had brought back the truck. Therefore, I was charged the next day. I would NOT recommend this location or UHAUL unless they really needed it for the cost. Very disappointing.Nicholas P.

I didn't appreciate being charged for a dolly that was left in the truck when I specifically indicated in my reservation that I did not want to rent one. Additionally, contactless pick-up/drop off does not work online as this location is misplaced on the website.CADY R.

Rude customer service. I arrived for a 3:00 pickup at 2:45. The CSR said you're early, but I'll still help you. I left the front door open because my kids were asleep in their carseats (windows down and 60 degrees) and I wanted to keep an eye on them. He told me to shut the door. I explained my kids were in the car and asked if I could leave it open. He said no and didn't like open doors. If I had any other option I would have left. Generally he was rude and treated me as if I was an inconvenience. As a consumer, it's my choice where I spend money. Never getting a dime out of me again.Tai E.

Whole online check in process was completely ridiculous actually used up 45 minutes of allotted rental time just trying to get processed in an were hung up on twice while trying to get representative help. Wife at home stayed on phone for 20 minutes trying to get help no one even picked up.Kim T.

Upon my arrival to the predetermined destination, Monck's Corner, SC I called the number for the drop-off in the area. They then sent me a location in Summerville, SC, some 10 miles from where I was. I passed three different U-haul locations to travel to this location. This whole experience with U-haul was a total fiasco and a terrible experience. Customer Service and support was nonexistent. I will do everything within my power to never to business with U-haul again and will encourage the more than 100 people that I supervise to do the same.David H.

Looks like a scene in one of the wrong turn movies. The guy who came out didn't even say hi. He ordered me to do his job and back the truck between a crowded area of trees and uhaul. I refused. Got out. Handed him keys. He didn't say a word. Extremely rude. He mumbled something and I had to raise my voice asking if he said something he just said thanks and I walked away. Terrible place. 1. Once a reservation is made for a time and location do not change either. My location was set for one location and it changed two more times before pick-up; even on the day of pick-up. Also, the business closed before my pick up time and the business owner was frustrated. Fortunate, for me he waited for my arrival. 2. The business at the pickup/drop off location doesn't maintain a clear driveway to circle around the property. At drop off I had to back in from Luke St. three hundred feet and navigate a "S" curve to avoid other parked vehicles to park the trailer as instructed by the business owner. Other wise I would have had to drop it off and block the driveway at the gate. The entrance gate allows only one vehicle to pass through. I didn't choose this location and will not pick up from this location in the future even if my reservation is reassigned to this location.Robert B.
