Not only did the trailer I rented have a bad tire on it, it was filthy. Once I started unloading, everything I had in the trailer had to be wiped down and cleaned. This trailer left the facility and it was not safe or clean. Luckily for me, a good Samaritan pulled up beside me while I was driving on the freeway and told me to pull over immediately. His concern was a possible axle being ready to break. I was fortunate enough to be near an exit. I called the closest U-Haul (5 minutes from where I was parked) to be told I had to call the 1-800 number. When I called them, they advised they had to send a technician out, and the closest one they had was 45 minutes away. This was a 2 hour delay to my trip, and in my opinion, this could have been a 30 minute delay if I could have just went to the U-Haul facility and traded out the trailer for a different one. The one bright spot in this mess, was the guy from Elite RoadSide Assistance was awesome....It was pouring rain outside, and he worked on this until he figured out what the problem was
