This was hands down the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had. The person working at the location did not speak English and did not know the system at all!! He totally changed my reservation charging me almost double and saying I had to return the truck to that location only. Meanwhile I reserved a truck as a one way to be returned in port chester. I called UHAUL upwards of 15 times speaking with a different person each time and no one could help get it corrected. I was at the location for 1 hour and 45 minutes before I got the situation corrected and could actually leave with the truck and proper reservation. I was moving and it caused me an extra 2 hours of time with the movers. Then once i returned the truck the wrong miles were put on the reservation causing EVEN MORE MONEY. Never dealing with this company again. I want my money back

Though the vehicle was in good condition (2095 odometer miles), staff unable to manage dispatch with assistance, or return of the vehicle. Additionally, actual mileage driven (2194) was less than billed for (100), and no reimbursement was made for excess fuel in the tank 3.875 gal (1/8 tank) above the amount when the vehicle was picked up. $.79 for 1 mile, plus 1/8 tank of gas (1/8 is .125 x 31 gal tank = 3.875 gals x $2.33 per gal = $9.03 + .79 = $9.82. So, for $9.82 and poor customer service, U-Haul loses.

There was an extra day charged. There was also a fee of $45 dollars that was not discussed. I did not realize this until I saw the statement electronically. There should have been a paper statement to review.

I was double billed. They had no printer to give me a receipt and took hours to email it to me so it took me a day to realise I was double billed. Still haven't had the chance to go there and get a refund



there was a major delay in picking up equipment. not sure is store clerk was not familar with program or was the problem the website. i could not leave for more than 30 minutes becuase the system had me as already having a veh out. clerk eventually made a few calls and was told to make a new reservation. please check to see no double charge for the 19th






The van was dirty. The guy never asked how I wanted to pay just charged the card. I had to do my own rental cause the guy did not know how to do it. They need a lot more training

It took an hour.... an HOUR for this guys computer to start up and I only had a small window of time to get the keys to my new place. Not only that but there appeared to be no reservation even though I did check-in beforehand to avoid the long wait despite it completely backfiring. I ran my card through several times and I'm too scared to check now but I'm pretty sure it was charged multiple times. I understand UHaul operates at other locations but never has an experience been this bad. NOBODY was listening to me and when you're trying to move as quickly as possible last-minute UHaul is usually great but this was a total disaster. Never again. I was legit pissed off that I had to waste another dime on the location by being charged for 1 gallon which honestly should have just been complimentary at that point.
