This was the second location , the first one I booked through told me my Uhaul was not even there and to go elsewhere and was less than pleasant.

Just concerned that he wasn't going to document the mileage that we used. We had estimated under 100 miles which he put on the billing sheet but we ended up only making one trip for a total of 21 miles which makes a difference in the mileage charge.

The location and truck were fine but I have been getting random charges on my card since I ordered this U-Haul. I didn’t get an email saying that I owed anything extra until 4 days after the payment was due WITH THE LATE FEE ADDED ON. I tried to pay 3 times with 2 different credit cards and the website kept saying there was an issue but wouldn’t tell me how to resolve it or why there was a problem it just told me to put the key for the truck in the lockbox. Then money gets taken from BOTH cards that I tried to use and then the email 4 days after the payment was supposed to be due. This is absolutely ridiculous. To anyone reading this NEVER USE U-HAUL. It’s a fucking scam and I had to cancel my card just so they won’t take any more from my account.

The uhaul didn’t start the guy came out and jumped it I drove off in it got 10 miles down the street it stop call the uhaul is place was on hold with them for several minutes finally got some one but they couldn’t help me bcuz the paperwork I had wasn’t even mine got back to Jack pawn on Bardstown Rd he told me to hang up with uhaul leave it satting in the road and all he never check the gas hand or the condition of the truck at all than charged me a 68.00 when my ticket says 40$ something $$ and promised me the next rental experience would be free for me.

Air in truck didnt work most of the time & was blowing hot air when driving on expressway. Inside dash got very hot & when touched would burn you. Truck was fairly clean.

My only issue is that I paid for a regular dolly, and an appliance dolly. The only dolly I was given was the appliance dolly- so I am out the money I had to pay for the regular dolly even though I didn't get one.

Not happy with the customer service that I received. After the 4th location that I was told that my truck was at, it was found and waiting for me. I drove almost 2 hours out of state to pick up the rental truck and then spent the next 2.5 hours trying to track it down. I was sent to 3 different locations. I am not sure why the website and the text messages that I received stated where to pick up if it was not there. It was very frustrating, exhausting and time consuming on a moving day. The Uhaul app and website is not useful to show when a truck was returned back to a location. The truck that I rented was returned the same day as I rented, but then now showing that I returned a day late. I tried to call the Uhaul customer service phone number multiple times on the rental day about the rental and about returning it. I was able to to speak to 1 customer service rep, the other times that I called, I was on hold for so long that I gave up. I do not plan to use this service again.

So I was moving from a small apt to a larger one only about 2 miles away. I booked my uhaul reservation online about 2 and a half weeks in advance online for a location about a mile right in-between the two apartments. The location said online Sunday hours were 9-3 and nothing to indicate it would be closed. Less than a week before move in day I got a voicemail from them saying they were going to close that day and moved my reservation a little further away and those hours were from 9-12 that day. I called that location to make sure I would be able to drop the truck off late since there was no way we would be finished moving in 3 hours. I got their voicemail and never had my call returned. THEN, less than 24 hours to go I received a TEXT not a call, to confirm my reservation for a 3rd location that was over 20 minutes away! I called the first location to find out what happened and they just said sorry, that second location is closed that day too. And I said what?? You said they'd be open. I'm getting charged per mile, have to pay for extra gas, and it's riskier to be on the road for 40 extra minutes driving a truck I have no experience with. I shouldn't have to pay all this extra money when it's your all's mistakes. She was just like welp sorry. I called the uhaul customer service line and waited for 12 straight minutes before giving up because I had to go to work. So I sent an email instead. Never got a response. When I picked up my truck it was in a shady neighborhood and it was a pawn/gun shop and the guy behind the counter acted sympathetic but like he couldn't do anything. I've exhausted all avenues to resolve this issue and either I am refused help or no one gets back to me. and my card got charged for the full amount which I feel is completely unfair aince this was all uhauls failing. This is the worst customer service Ive ever experienced and I had time Warner cable. I will never use them again and I strongly urge other to seek other rentals for themselves.

Jacks Pawn was a great experience. The manager was amazingly capable, friendly, and cooperative. He opened the store one hour earlier than he normally did, just to accommodate our needs. He was a very nice person to deal with.
