I arrived after closing, so the location was not staffed. There was plenty of room to turn around and park the 26' truck. The signage and drop box were placed in plain view and easy to use.

We are completing a local move and because our new house was for sale by owner we have been able to move over time. We have rented twice in the last few months. We had a pretty poor experience with another uhaul location and now I wont call anywhere except Stones Crossing Garden Center. Next move time they will be our only call.
Using the 24/7 U-Haul App, U-Haul could not confirm my location at the rental property, to get my reserved truck rental started, until I walked 50 feet west, from the Key Box station to the south side of the paved entrance at IN-135. I stood there at the entrance until the initial location verification, selfie photo, and driver's license authentication were complete. Then I proceeded to move about for the rest of the check-in process.
The lady running the pick up site was amazingly helpful. I appreciate her.

There was no one there when I went to drop off my rental, no one answered the phone, and I couldn't get a hold of anyone by calling UHaul directly and waiting on hold for 15 minutes. I needed to leave so I left the truck out front. Now they have tried to charge me a convenience fee but my card was locked in order to prevent this as it was their fault for not being there, there was no note about this on UHaul's website, and if this is convenient for anyone, it's the people that work there. I don't hold this against UHaul, but the sharing of information in this situation was abysmal.
Perhaps extend a small amount of grace when a rental is less than an hour late instead of charging for another full day plus insurance. A late fee or pro-rate would be better business practice. I was told the next pick up reservation for the truck we rented was scheduled for the exact time of our return. I was further informed by the local representative that as a result of our 30 minutes late return, the second customer had to be cancelled. This is either incredibly horrible risk management or it was a lie to intended to provoke guilt. So now instead of a grace period you have two very unhappy customers. Between that and a hold placed on our debit card that is STILL THERE 4 days post truck return and invoice paid, we will never be using Uhaul again.
We would have liked the mileage from our actual moving location to destination quoted. The city we were moving from didn't have any Uhauls available so we had to use this location and the drive the truck another hour south before loading and driving to our drop off city. We had to pay mileage overage.
Originally went to get a 6x12 open trailer. Turns out the actual dimension of the opening was not 6 ft due to gate. Looked at enclosed trailer that gave me 1 inch wiggle room. While doing paperwork on new trailer gentleman came in and said he switched to trailer to doors I stand of took up giving me 4 inches. Smart move on his part. Shows he knows his equipment.
The reservation that I set up was for 24/7 pickup and the vehicle was not reserved correctly. We waited for over an hour in the parking lot just to receive our key. We also ordered equipment for our move and never received it. We called several times and the management team never called back or gave us our equipment during the time we had the rental truck. I would not recommend this location. Very disappointed with how unprofessional my experience was.
