Everyone was helpful and knowledgeable. My only complaint is the truck is gas guzzler, but I hear that is normal, unfortunately. I wish there was a practice driving range since I had a truck and trailer for my car. Backing up was impossible for me. Also, when driving out of the midwest, flatlands, to mountain areas, please instruct which gear to drop down to. I googled a lot and made it.

UHaul, in general, makes it seem like you’ll have to give up your first born if you slightly dent the interior of the van. I spent the several hours in a paranoid state try to make sure there were no scratches or dents. All so uhaul can get their extra $10 of insurance money. You guys would be better off to simply put it in the standard price. It almost seems like extortion - you better pay the $10 or really bad things could happen

I picked up the trailer and the tail lights weren't working, the service person jiggled the trailer wire harness and said it was fine. First off, this was not even the location I requested, nor was it even close to my requested location. I was so frustrated I took the trailer anyway. I had no choice as I was moving our son back to college. What made this even more frustrating was, I have two U-Haul full service facilities withing 15 miles from my house and I was forced to drive to this little dingy gas station 40 min. away.

Having a "test" one can do with his/her smart phone for a dry run through pick-up would be helpful. I turned every location access button "on" I could find and still couldn't get past step one of the virtual check-in. 800 number put me on interminable hold. Just waited almost an hour for the person at the location to get on duty and picked up through him....Just a thought.

My trailer did not have running lights that worked and half of my 14 hour drive was at night. I was concerned the entire time that I would get a ticket and perhaps worse, rear ended by a car or semi truck. I feel that I should be compensated for this and/or the amount I paid for the UHAUL be refunded.

Dealership understaffed and completely disorganized. One employee responsible for gas station, maintenance garage and uhaul operation. Waiited for over 1.5 hours. Contact could not be printed as printer was not working. After the 1.5 hours of waiting, had trailer connected and found the trailer lights were not working. Horrible experience.
