We did not get all the stuff we ordered online for the reservation and did not know it wasn't there until I got to my location for packing up stuff. We had to call the uhaul and make sure they didn't charge us and then get a refund on the equipment we paid for. The truck was dirty.Brian W.
Previous experience was absolutely 5-star. This one was not. The truck was dirty, had a bunch of stuff left over from previous customer or it was a bunch of Evangelist material that had been put in the car by the location owner, I'm not sure. I think they need to have more than one person working. The place is also a small general store type place and if that person is helping uhaul clients then he has to lock the business down during that time.Angela P.
I had made the reservation the previous evening for a 26' truck and a dolly. Upon arrival, the person checking me in for the reservation was very nice. However, she added extra insurance that I had not specified on my reservation nor requested when checking in. She said, â€œmost people get it.â€ The truck upon inspection was in poor repair. Skirting was missing, the head light looked like it was about to fall off as a couple of examples. Generally, there was not a spot on the truck that did not have a scratch, dent or major repair needed. Also, the dolly that was on the reservation was not available, so we had to drive the opposite direction of our destination to pick up the reserved dolly. The truck ran fine during the day. However, in the evening when the lights were turned on, one of the marker lights goes out signifying an electrical issue. The gentleman who was supposed to be closing out the reservation was rude and said he refused to check the truck in. After getting off the phone with a u-hail representative, a new employee came out to finish checking in the truck. She was the only positive about this whole experience.Hanna H.

The lady we encountered said we needed to go on/line for the return, and she had no role to play in the return. The parking area was so small we barely got our big truck in to it. We were unable to make contact with the online check in. Finally a nice young man came out and took care of it for us. There is another drop off location nearby which should be recommended to your customers ... located on old Hwy 21, near Hwy 141. They have plenty of room, they're in a great location, and they surely are more helpful than the behind the bluffs location.terry E.

I had paid to pick it up at 7:30 AM. The establishment was closed. I called U-haul to notify them, they sent me to another establishment for 8:15, which also was closed. I had to go back to Behind the Bluffs at 9, when they opened. Then it took the lady who worked there 50 mins to fill out her end of the paperwork. I filled out my paperwork on my phone for my check-in. I had a moving company scheduled for 8, but didn't even get to leave Behind the Bluffs with my truck until 10, 2 and A HALF HOURS later than scheduled.Amanda B.

Sorry but this neighborhood is not for a single elder woman to return a trailer by herself. The store was selling vapor cigs at the time and I could not get in a word with the two women behind the counter because they were on the phone with personal business. I had a man blocked outside and he was waiting for someone to come out to move the trailer while I was waiting for the women to hang up and do my paperwork. Smelled strongly of cigarettes in there and the workmen were very smelly and had on wife beater shirts.Dorothy B.

Truck was super dirty in cab area and had an atrocious smell. Also odometer kept changing modes so I felt like it was not accurate. The bill was nearly 1/3 higher than originally quoted thats a large window. Also rental beginning was 45 minutes rental return with nearly as long seems awfully time-consuming.Danielle F.

We had signed up for the 24/7 pick up/drop off but when we finished signing in on our phone, 50 minutes when by and we still didn't have approval to take the truck. The keys were inside the store so we had to cancel our reservation and start a completely different one inside the store for the same truck. Online we ordered 2 dollies and they weren't even in the truck. When we were done and dropped off the truck, our invoice shows that we were charged for the $56 safe move plus. We were not asked if we wanted that package. In fact, I signed up for the $14 package when I signed up online. What a mess.Jeremy L.

Absolutely terrible and unprofessional. When renting this morning we requested a blankets were told â€œI have a business to run and don't have time to find themâ€. It took a half hour this morning to rent it and 45 minutes to return it. I was also charged for 2 Dollys and only recived one.Denice S.

The staff didn't know anything but were to park the trailer, the storage lot entrance was so bad it almost tore up my vehicle and there was so much trash and broke down cars you could barely even maneuver, I had to unhook the trailer myself they didn't supply a jack had to use the tire jack from my car as I am not strong enough to pick up the trailer off the ball when I used my jack their drop off location is slopped and trailer fell off jack and almost hit my car not once did anyone attempt to help me from this dealer.Brelyn L.

This location seemed sketchy at best. There was one person working there, and it took over half an hour to finally get the paperwork for the truck. There was a room that said 18 & up only with a beaded curtain that could easily be seen through, which contained things I don't want my children seeing. When I finally got out to the truck, even though the paperwork stated the gas tank was full, it was at 3/4 off a tank. I didn't have the time at that point to go back in and spend however much time it would've taken to rectify that mistake. I snapped a picture to show that the mileage was the same as it was on the paperwork, but the tank was not full.Jeff B.

I was overcharged. The guy said that he rented me the wrong truck and the bill was messed up. He took about half hour or longer trying to "fix the problem" and said my bill of $70.00 would be sent to me by email. I only drove 31.75 miles and obviously am being charged for the other person's truck rental. I want this corrected asap!Jennifer B.

The internet was not working and had to be done on a phone. Found out in Michigan that the hitch screw was broken and drove all the way without the hitch screwed on properly. This was found by the employee in Grand Rapids when they could not unscrew the hitch because it was broken and never screwed on. They said they would take the trailer out of service.GREGORY O.

They didn't have any tools to change out the ball for the truck to tow the trailer, messed up on the contract and charged me then had to reverse the entire transaction and re-do it, then charged me 30 dollars more for two items I didn't want or need. Although I am being refunded the first transaction and the mess up from the second one, I have over 300 bucks pending in my account now from them as banks aren't open on the weekends to â€œreleaseâ€ holds. Then my dad had to go buy a new ball as they said his wouldn't fit, when it completely would have.Jamie A.
