No signs saying return area and a very small lot. He asked was there any issues and I said yea terrible leak in roof and …….. he then cut me off and said he did not care for any specifics that it was U-Hauls problem . I again said it appeared to leak in three areas and he again said don't care it's uhauls problem they have to fix it and walked away. Not a great ambassador for the U-Haul brand……..

There was an issue with the log in and the uhaul phone number had a 43 minute wait. The man said uhaul was closed at 4:00. We arrived at 4:10 but the service station was still open. He literally ran my credit card, printed the receipt and wrote the code for lock box. It took all of 3 minutes. He was rude and unpleasant. Definitely did not represent uhaul in a positive manner. Regarding the truck ~ the steering alignment was off. The steering wheel had to be positioned left in order to drive straight.

Frank C.I ordered a furniture cart and a dolly. Unfortunately, neither were in the truck when I picked it up at 8am. Luckily, a gentleman that worked there showed up at 8am and was able to locate the above items, but it took 15 minutes of my paid time. Also it was the only dolly he had. I would have been pretty mad if he wouldn't have had one. How do you move without the equipment you ordered. Other than that things went pretty smoothly.

James S.The location was closed , which was unexpected. We thought we could drive here and get the keys from someone behind the counter. So Pickup took about an hour, as we had to set up an online account with the help of a representative just to get a code to open a mailbox to get the keys. Setting up the account was fraught with complexity, several set backs, and twas time consuming which was frustrating. But for the help of a patient representative walking us through the set up process we would not have been able to get the keys. We almost gave up after driving over an hour to get to the location, which incidentally was changed from the location we requested and were told we could pick up the truck to another location (half hour drive from the location we requested) We were extremely upset this location was changed the night before pickup in an email at 800 pm, which I opened at 1030 pm. But for me fortuitously opening this email Before I went to bed my husband and I would have driven to Ann Arbor, the location that was scheduled/requested, and discovered there was no truck. This change was made unilaterally with no advance notice or phone call. Extremely poor communication. When I discovered this at 1030 I immediately contacted a rep who transferred me to customer service allegedly open 24 hours at about 1055 pm. Took an hour for a rep to answer the phone, which I found extremely upsetting bc you would think that between 1100-1200 pm very few people are calling U-Haul. I wanted my original location and was informed there were no trucks available in Ann Arbor. U-Haul needs to comply with their original location agreements with customers, communicate any changes with a phone call and advance notice and specifically inform customers that the location they are picking up the trucks are closed and that customers need to set up an online account to retrieve keys. Extremely dissatisfied with U-Haul and it's lack of communication, inability to timely answer the phones, unilaterally changing the original pick up location with no advance notice, and failure to inform customers that a pickup location is closed and an online account is needed to pick up the truck.

roy P.Your app and U-Haul.com is very frustrating. Was not able to fond my reservation. When i logged in to return said no reservations existed. I had an issue where i mistyped email as yagoo instead of yahoo, app didn't catch it and i couldnt edit it when i realized the error. Fortunately the drop off was staffed.

Michael S.No masks--dirty old auto garage. Rude people. When I returned the trailer he told me to put it in a spot. I said there was no room to turn around and he said U haul means you haul. He eventually disconnected the trailer and walked away. What a jerk.
William S.I believe the place was closed.... it was Sunday. I left the trailer in a space out front but it wast so clear where it should be left and there was no stand for the trailer to sit on.
Paul P.After completing the paperwork for the pick-up, the attendant simply handed over the key and said everything is all set. When I mentioned there are scratches on the truck after a brief visual inspection, he seemed irritated and grudgingly came out to look at the scratches and said to just upload some pictures.. When I got home and tried to upload the pictures, the link had expired and would not let me upload them. By this time the rental office was closed for the weekend. The truck interior was sticky and was evident it had not been wiped or sanitized so I had to clean and sanitize it given the current COVID-19 concerns. Overall this was not a pleasant pick-up experience.
