The U-Haul representative was nice and courteous, but the location had a closed gate during normal operating hours and it was not clear how to gain access. I used the intercom button on the push pad, but there was no answer. The representative happened to be taking out the trash and saw me waiting at the gate. This is how I entered the storage facility. It was frustrating for me and I would not pick this location again.

Streamline your process. I have rented a truck several times in the past 3 months, and the system seems to take forever. It's not the fault of the rep, Martina, either. Not having a chair to sit on, per Covid-19 rules, exacerbates the problem for someone who has difficulty standing. Martina did offer a chair when I brought that up last time, but I had already set down on a flat dolly.

I was called a day earlier saying that i had to go to this location to pick up a 15' truck at same price as 10' truck but was charged 15' price. I didn't notice till i left.

Open store at a reasonable hour on Saturday, and when an Uhaul Ustore employee opens for you let it be known. Told I couldn't pick up till 10 on Saturday only to find out the gal was there and open at 8:30. No excuse or apology for the missed communication.

1.) The truck radio had tons of static and almost unlistenable. 2.) A backup camera is almost an expectation these days, especially on a much larger vehicle tgan most people are accustomed to.

Was just hoping to pick up a trailer closer to home but that is how it goes sometimes.

Pick up trailer with a flat tire. Had to return to the location & wait for someone to come and change the tire . Trailer should have been checked before hand. They had plenty of time to do so before we picked it up.

I have rented from U-Haul before, and this location was great. My only suggestion would be that you make some sort of email notification that says how to return the equipment. Especially if you do remote pickup, and you reset the code dial, there's no way that I'm aware of to get that code back without calling uhaul (unless you have an impeccable memory)

The transmission on the vehicle I rented seems to be slipping. It was loud when switching gears and the vehicle jerks when switching gears. Recommend someone take a look at that.

Trailer was clean but we transported furniture during a rainstorm and it leaked. Our furniture was wet and a mattrice and box springs got soaked. Hopefully we can salvage them. Feel do to these problems there should be no charge at least for renting such old - non maintained equipment. Considering other options.

I didn't get her name, but the person who helped me was friendly and knowledgeable about the trailer I rented. She paid particular attention to safety as she double checked the hitch twice to make sure it was secure. I dropped the trailer off after hours and everything worked just as she said it would.

We rented the truck online from Waterford Twp but the day we were to pick it up, we were diverted to another office in South Lyon. That change added 60 extra miles that we had to pay for.. really disappointing.
