I rented on app. Confirmation said to show acceptance to clerk and get key. Store clerk claimed no knowledge of U-Haul and their process and if I did on the app, then the key is in lockbox. After a couple more attempts to get key from lockbox (with no combination), I call the number on invoic and press number for U-Haul. Store clerk answers and looks quite irritated telling me I have called him incorrectly. After insisting that everything about this haul rental points to his gas station, he finally makes a call… then says someone is on the way to help me out. Person shows up, walks into back office and after acting like I don’t know what I am doing, confirms on the computer, grabs keys off the hook and hands them to me. 45 minutes later! What a cluster.

JOHN TMy concern is with corporate - not the Ocean Bluff locations. I have two concerns. 1. You had me enter all kinds of information online before I arrived. The rep then had to re enter all of that information. Very frustrating and a waste of time. 2. Your website claims that the van door opening is: Door opening: 5'1-1/2" x 4'1-1/2" (WxH). This is not true at all. I could not move one of my pieces because of this discrepency. Had I know that the door opening was less than 5' I would have rented a different truck. The Ocean Bluff location has nothing to do with my concerns and no control over my concerns. They did their job well.
