I don't want to be critical as this location has just started with uhaul, but it took him about 15 min to remove the trailer from my hitch. Now, I want an opporuntity to review the place I was originally told to go for my Uhaul when i picked up the trailer at Bensalem location, which was Tire Works in Vero Beach. This place is a hole in the wall. would avoid at all cost. Each door is blocked off so you don't know how to get in. Thankfully garage door was open and guy sitting there was about as helpful as a dirty rag. He said I couldn't drop trailer off cause no one told him. WHAT!! I said I was told to drop it off here by Uhaul. He made a call and wikthout my approval, had me relocated to Fort Pierce location which was 36 minutes away. I was like, no way. I called and Beatrice got me to the Econolodge which was only another 9 minutes out of my way. But, let your tires fall off before you go to Tire Works of Vero Beach.

It’s a hotel and U-Haul is not their core business
Gerard CThe ECONOLODGE VERO BEACH 32960 location manually changed my twenty four hour rental to a six hour rental at 8pm at night. 9am I received an aggressive text stating that I was going to be reported to the authorities for theft. Upon calling UHAUL, i'm told there's nothing they can do about it. When I tried to return the truck, the gentleman at the front desk didn't want to complete the return. He took the key and told me I could leave. I told him after that text they sent me, I needed a receipt that showed that I returned the truck. He was visibly upset about having to process the return. What I find interesting is the night before... when I tried to pick up the truck at 7:15pm at night.... they had not checked it back in from the last person returning it. The manager told me it had been returned in the morning, but it hadn't been processed yet. That seems awfully curious. It caused over a 45 minute delay in picking up the truck, and... then.... I receive a text early 9am saying that i'm going to be reported for theft. This wasn't just poor customer service. It was customer abuse. Locations like this reflect badly on uhaul. Ultimately, this is UHAULS neglect for allowing a location to operate like this AT ALL.

PATRICK CI picked up at 8 am, returned at 9 am, was told it would be 2 day rental and was charged for 3. Over all very friendly at the counter and very efficient at the pick up. Had to use a guest at the hotel to get the 12' trailer off my truck.
