I made a reservation weeks in advance for a 15 foot truck and a furniture dolly. I called 3 days before the reservation to confirm and verify that everything would be there, and they assured me it would be. I showed up and not only did they not have the furniture dolly, they didn’t even have a truck for me. They ended up giving me a 26 foot truck (which was way too big and horrible to drive) and it was given to me with no gas. The next lady to walk in wasn’t so fortunate, they had not truck for her either. Absolutely terrible. Second bad experience I’ve had with them.

One of the tires was severely under inflated so we wasted a lot of time (and miles) looking for a gas station with an air pump. Then we were charged for 6 moving pads that we never got or rented. Finally, our bill was almost $100 more than it should have been.

The drop off was simple and easy. the drop off directions on my phone were good, except trying to figure out where to put the key. That information was not clear and i was unable to click on the link due to them wanting me to fill out a survey and the notification didnt go away after filling out the survey

I was not give equipment I asked for which caused me to rent a second truck return dates were wrong and the truck lieaked all over my possessions so I was not happy

Very disappointed. Not trustworthy representative! I remake second reservation 2 days later and I received the confirmation EMAIL of truck rental on Sunday 7/30 . But someone cancelled when I get there. Bad experience at this location.

The location and Joyce was great. However, the charges were more than expected, ran into issue with town only when it was specific that we were going to Fredericksburg VA, uhaul admin gave Joyce a runaround on who to contact about changing this, so I am not happy with uhaul in general. I think this is a very busy truck rental place. Two women taking care of everything. Too much. I also think that people moving inexpensively are not going to take the time to come back and clean the truck. My windshield wiper was broken, glad it didn’t rain. The interior of the truck was dirty, swept but stained. The door seal was entirely off. Fell out the door when I climbed in. I liked the people but the truck condition was horrible. Not the usual uhaul truck.

I reserved the moving van online. However the van I was issued was did not match the photo of the van I reserved on UHaul's website. Both vans were the same size for sure. I would recommend augmenting your website so that what the customer sees is what he (she) gets.

There was only one person at the location and basically we were told to take care of ourselves. There was no problem but the other person there was quite upset which left us totally alone.

Online reservation system needs improvement. Online reserved 15' local truck. Got confirmation, but when I went too pick it up, they did not have one available and told me my reservation was at 330 but it was 10am at confirmation. I lost a day of moving because of this and had to pick up the truck late in the afternoon and take another day off to move the following day but had to rush to get the truck back before the early afternoon. A confirmation is a confirmation, please do not promise when you cannot keep the promise. Apparently there were others at this same location that had similar problems.

All of the fees added to the final invoice should be made clear on the original quote. I understand there would be fees for fuel and mileage but the final invoice was double that if the original invoice and that’s unacceptable in my opinion. Billing should be straight forward.

I’m being sarcastic, but as a favor to the location, I dropped off the truck early (they had another rental coming earlier and didn’t have a truck available). We cleaned the truck, swept and we were *still* charged a $10 cleaning fee! Poor form and poor service.

After the ordeal of picking up the uhaul and how far out of the way we had to go, the return location called almost instantly letting us know how important it was to get the truck back to them as possible and if we could return it before our 3 pm drop off time. Then, the next morning, they call again saying they’re expecting us by 10:30. I informed her our contract was for 3, and she said “oh, I do see the 3 pm now, okay, but there’s someone picking it up right at 3 so I need it ASAP” I get it. You’re running a business. But I made a reservation too. The complete lack of coordination, respect, and helpfulness of each person I talked to during this experience made sure that I will never rent from Uhaul ever again.

If I was a first time renter I would be lost. The person before me could not find their vehicle. She did not let them know where to find the number on the vehicle. She did not go over the vehicle and did not explain the X’s for damage.

Sue was very rude and condescending. Took forever to input information. She kept saying it was the "system" but she just had no idea what she was doing. She never asked if I wanted insurance & when I declined, she huffed and puffed. Angered to have to make a help call and start all over again, stating "well it's only $42.00." I told her do not count my money and since it's only $42.00 was she offering to pay?! She continued to complained the entire time even stating I don't know where you sign; no one has ever declined insurance everyone just takes it. LIES because she HAS waited on me before and I always decline. It was just an uncomfortable, unprofessional 35 minutes!!

Cost associated with this move and different options or not explain to me. I went over my mileage and U-Haul charge me and is over then amount of money. He explained to me that I was paying for miles and I probably should have it done a different type of Rachel or use a different company charge me almost $400!
