Uhaul was very difficult to deal with. Location changes, pick up time changes. Purses to go open from 10-5 only. Next time, I will actually shop around instead of trust the name Uhaul.

I had to change my pick-up time to accommodate them. They were upset with me because I didn't have the correct tools with me to put the ball joint on the hitch...if I'm picking up a trailer, they should have those tools...it should be up to me.

The lady that helped me out with the uhaul was amazing. She made sure I had everything I needed for moving and was very informative on the vehicles. She helped me choose the size and was very helpful if I had any questions. Will use her again in the future!

No personnel were on site when I returned my equipment. The facility was closed. I simply dropped off the trailer and parked it in the lot but the place of business.

The lady was very nice, it was a little ladies clothing and jewelry store. The past cross country U-haul trip when assisting my daughter moved, the air conditioner did not work and the front windshield had been replaced but not sealed properly. Therefore, I asked if the air was working and if everything was ok with the truck. She stated the last people did not say there were any problems, so assume it is all working. We were 5.5 hours down the road when we blew a tire. Luckily, my son was able to keep the truck and trailer under control and we pulled to the side of the Kansas Freeway. I called road assistance and after quite awhile, they were able to pinpoint our location and sent out a service truck. My son had noted that another tire looked bad when he went out to check tire after getting us stopped. The service gentleman said the tires were awful that we were sent out on and he changed a total of 3 tires. Total down time on the side of the road was about 3 hours. Sitting in that truck while traffic sped by and "rocked the truck" was frightening, it was so unsafe.

Everything was completed online yet representative had little knowledge of software, what screens wanted, etc. Printer was not functional. What should have taken 10 minutes was almost an hour. Trailer does not have a dolly jack which they knew nothing about. No jack made it impossible to detach the trailer when fully loaded. Didn't plan to drag a loaded trailer with me everywhere for 10 days.

The tow hooks need to be more S shaped so they fit into the slots in new style receivers, such as my Audi has.

I had no help with the trailer. I was expecting an offer to help unhotch because the pick up location offered to help hitch it up I thought this one would help in hitch. And I had a little trouble doing it myself.

Proprietor had several delays which delayed us . Also charged too much and had us delivering it back to where I picked it up and it was a one way trip to another state. Got it straightened out when I arrived but could have been a disaster if I turned it in after hours. Truck drove great. Unhappy

I was very upset when I picked up my 10" truck to find the I had been "upgraded" to a 15' truck with a "mom's attic". A 10" foot was more than I needed and packing a larger truck made for extra work and tying down. I was scheduled to pick the truck up on Saturday morning, September 24th, pack that afternoon and move my daughter into her new apartment the next day, Sunday. The manager, Eric, told me when I picked up the 15' truck that he wouldn't have a 10' available until Monday. Then why was I told when I made an online reservation that I successfully reserved a 10' truck? Given the schedule I had to keep, I had no choice than to let U-Haul provide me a truck that was too large for the job, harder to drive and consumed more gas than what I had reserved. Further, the windshield was so covered with bugs when I picked up the truck that it took ten minutes on a ladder to clear the driver's side for clear viewing. This was the most disappointing experience in working with U-Haul in many moves over 40 years.
