The staff were friendly and helpful, however there was confusion about what kind of equipment would be available when we needed it. Not until the day of moving did we know if we would have what we needed. This was not necessarily the fault of the employees here, but UHaul management needs to work on their reservation logistics to make sure customers have what they reserved weeks prior. The moving blankets we rented were all pretty dirty and this fuzz comes off them and latches onto skin and clothes. It doesn't seem like they get washed very often, if at all. Honestly, for the price of renting the truck, customers should get a few bags of these thrown in for free.THEODORE M.

The Sebago Lake Automotive facility was AMAZING!!! They are so kind and helpful. They really care about how everything goes from picking up the truck rental , the move itself and the return of the vehicle. Online customer service was the worst I have ever experienced. I tried to ask about tolls and how to pay for them after confirming with EZPass that I couldn't use my trans pass and the customer service was horrendous. I was transferred to two different supervisors who were both rude and refused to let me speak with their supervisors. I was trying plan ahead and they said my only option was to pay an administrative fee for every toll I went through after my trip. I even asked to speak with the people that dealt with the tolls and I wasn't allowed to. She would constantly talk over me and only cared about updating the local girl (Karen in Windham) that we were responsible for the tolls and fees because she told us she thought our trans pass would be ok to use. After paying over $1600.00 and having to drive an hour to get the vehicle because the local facility didn't have the equipment we needed I am incredibly disappointed and will never use U-Haul again or recommend it to anyone.Matthew S.

I was excited and apparently the lady thought that calling the cops and telling them I was possibly abusing alcohol or drugs was the right thing to do. After dealing with 3 cops at my local Walmart they saw I was not impaired and despite me pleading to do a test they had me carry on my way but not before two or three hundred people saw me as a guilty man, as a criminal, for that time...akin to defamation...certainly not what my reputation needed, especially as I strive to keep that pristine as my world revolves it and is how I feed my family. She rented me the uhaul and basically tried to set a trap for me!WILLIAM W.

We rented a UHAUL and pick up was on Sunday. We had to do the online checkin. It was a complete nightmare! It took us 35 minutes to finally get the key! We had great reception but the UHAUL sure said â€œno networkâ€. I think this location needs to install wIFI or something to correct this problem. In addition, we tried calling UHAUL 800 number and was told by a recording that the wait would be 10-15 minutes. Then it would say 15-20, then 20-30! We never got through. The experience was extremely poor on a 90+ humid day! When dealing with this location when it is open, it is top notch. The checkin online is horrible!Theresa B.

U-haul needs to improve the software that the rental locations use to complete the rental pick-ups. I rented a truck 2 weeks in a row from 2 separate locations. Each location had major difficulty with the rental. The 1st location had to finalize the contract cover the phone with the regional u-haul office. The 2nd place tried 2 separate computers in their office before one of the employees checked me in using her phone. Both of these pick-ups took 30 minutes.SCOTT O.

PU with smart phone is a great idea however I could get no cell reception. Huge struggle. I drove to Walmart parking lot ... would have reception but because I was not in the correct location I couldn't process. It took me a very long time to finally get thru PU and it was very frustrating. Tried to find open Wifi nearby, no luck. I won't do this again until it is made easier. Maybe send a temporary password to your Guest Wifi the day before and customers could sign in, quickly process and be on their way. So odd that my Verizon phone had 1- no bars in your parking lot but it did and given the location requirements it was very tough to create a work around, Truck was great, location convenient and we were able to track down someone who called after I finally was able to pick it up.Patricia C.
