Tough to pull in a 26 foot truck and back up to the transport and get it out of there....seems like they should of had it ready and easier to pull it outgil R.
The website login can be an issue. I spent half an hour trying to login and missed my check in time, and had to get another check in time also support is hidden and hard to find on the website. Maybe make it more accessible to customers. I'm pretty efficient at navigating in websites and have used livechats for support before. Took about 2 hours to get truck with numerous calls. Email with lock box info didn't work giving info. Had 4 men paying them $15 an hour to load, that were waiting around to get the truck. After we finally get the truck we drove a few miles to a storage unit and check engine light was on and when put in gear it sounded like drive shaft was falling out. Finally after a few more hours on phone to replace truck and men waiting around at $15 an hour we get another truck which smelled so bad from smoking we got a headache. Then we had to transfer what was in the 1st truck to the new truck. Finally after a whole day of wasted time and money we left the next day for Dayton Ohio and get there and everything was soaked inside the truck from a leak in the truck. All they allowed us was a lousey $50 refund when we spent over one thousand dollars. There is much more to complain about. There was at least 10-12 thousand dollars of merchandise in that truck. Only a couple of plastic totes protected a few things. Most were in boxes, 2 bedroom suits, 3 newer tv's, exercise equipment, new electric wheel chair at $1,900, King size mattress, queen size mattress and box spring. Oh I could go on and on. Never will I use U-Haul again. Not to mention the phone calls, where 2 were very rude and one lady hung up on us .Most employees we talk to were very rude cause they didn't want to hear the complaint. Now in order to get any payment for damages we have to pay to have things appraised. And fill out all kinds of paper work. Another hassle in progress. U-Haul should pay for adjusters to come out and appraise, not us. Never ever will we use U-Haul again or recommend them to anyone.TERRY W.
Everything was clean with the exception that the cab smelled like cat urine. The smell stuck with me and I literally lost my appetite. I also had no idea that the confirmation process to get the keys out of the box was going to be so frustrating. When I got to the place, there was whole other verification process to verify myself. I had to provide a phone number for them to call someone to say they know me and that took forever because who isn't skeptical of random phone numbers? Left me hanging....The rep had bad spelling and English so that was discouraging. She called my fiance because I listed him as the other point of contact. Prior to she randomly types "what's ***** number?" It seemed unprofessional. I had to keep retaking my picture because I must have looked different than I did the day I got my license. Then I was finally able to gain access to the keys and go through the process of checking off the truck.Mary W.

Rented a 26' truck and every time I turned it off I had to jump it to get it started. They changed my pickup location twice and made my driving mileage twice as far. Cost me alot more money. Couldn't get ahold of anyone to bring up the truck issue.Joshua W.

Make sure your representatives are knowledgeable . My pick up time was for 12;00 pm when I called the rep to check in bc of issues with mobile app . He changed it to 12:00 which caused issues where I didn't get the truck until around 12:40 a big inconvenience , being that I had a certain time to pick up suppliesJACKIE K.

Service was fine. Guys were helpful. But the 17 ft truck needs to be cleaned bad. All surfaces were super sticky and the seats were wet from the rain the night before. Truck ran like shit and was rattling the whole trip. Definitely will NOT use this Uhaul location any time in the future. Please go CLEAN that Truck!Alexander V.

Smart phone pick up was really bad. The mileage was over 1000 lower than what it actually was so I had to call customer service before I pulled off so I would not get charged for 1200 additional miles when I only would use 10 miles. It took over an hour so I had to pay my moving guys an hour more for just waiting for the truck. After the move I was exhausted but I needed to drop off the truck which took over 1.5 hours to do because of the mileage discrepancy. I'm seriously considering filing a claim to be reimbursed for my moving guys additional cost and my time. The worst experience in my life!!!maranda P.
