Valuable Tips for Moving to and Living in Dallas, Texas

We have polled a great number of customers who moved one-way to Dallas, and here are some tips that may help you along your move.

  • Timing your move – If possible, try to plan your move to Dallas outside of the summer months to avoid unloading your moving truck in the Texas heat.
  • Be conscious of toll roads – The North Texas Tollway Authority controls roughly 90 miles of freeways, bridges and tunnels. Depending on your daily commute, you may want to apply for a TollTag which will get you reduced rates at all toll check points.
  • Vehicle maintenance – You want to make sure your vehicle is in top mechanical condition so your car doesn’t leave you stranded on the side of the road. Air conditioning is always a plus when living in Texas during the summer months.
